Reviews:
Great friendly staffs. A lot of them speaks my language. Equipment look new and maintained. The place look sanitary and they follow PPE protocols. What I just don’t like is the waiting time. Although they immediately call your name to be seated on the dental chair, I had to wait for almost an hour until the dentist performs the procedure. They tend to squeeze as more people as possible in one appointment slot. It feels like it takes 2 hours to be there for a 15-minute procedure. Luckily I won’t make my appointment if I knew I would be busy for that day.
I’ve been pretty okay with their services until one incident where there was a staff who assisted the dentist. I noticed that the dentist had to teach her on how to hold the UV light to properly dry and harden my permanent teeth filling. Were staffs supposed to be trained to assist for this? This is one of the basics as a dental assistant. Sure enough, I overheard that they were understaffed on that day and had to use her to help out. I didn’t get to ask if the person was certified to help out with patients since I wanted to go home after a long wait in the clinic. I’m not sure but until this day I still feel uneasy about that incident.
As per needed procedure, I had my permanent filling placed after trial temporary filling on my tooth due to pain from chewing. The dentist wanted to do root canal which i hate the most, so I wanted less invasive options. I didn’t have any problems with the temporary filling, but I always have sensitivity with the permanent filling. It’s just odd, it might just be my tooth. I’ve been thinking about getting a second opinion from other dental clinics. I’m just frustrated but I feel kinda bad leaving this clinic that I’ve been going to for the past years.
Overall, I’d leave 3 stars for now.
