This office is very unprofessional. They keep the patients waiting for a ridiculous amount of time. They will schedule an appointment for a certain time and 2 hours later(with no exaggerating) they will take the patient in. This office has cancelled multiple cleaning appointments since October of 2023. Then they call to reschedule and all the future cleaning appointments that were made were cancelled by their office. I don’t know if the “five star” review is based solely off the fact they changed their name from West Haven Dental to Downtown Dental, but there is NO WAY IN HELL THEY COULD HAVE A 5 STAR REVIEW. Even when they were West Haven Dental and had more then just the ONE dentist they made patients wait long periods of time and overbooked. They space the appointment so far out that by the time they are done cancelling and rescheduling they tell you they need to do a cleaning and X-ray’s before they can do anything else that needs to be done.
HMMMMM. SEEMS LIKE THATS THE PLAN TO GET MORE MONEY FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. JUST SAYING

I’m a new patient with Downtown Dental, and my experience from start to finish was impeccable. I’m terrified of the Dentist, however, from booking my initial appointment the Schedulers were very patient and professional. I believe her name is Lisa, she is by far a kind lady. My wait period was in and out. Although I had to reschedule a few times due to my work schedule I final made it in and the Dr. Was funny and informative regarding what needed to be done. Overall if you’re looking for a Dental Office consider Downtown Dental.

I recently went in for a visit as a new patient and I had such a great experience. Normally I’m very nervous about going to visit the dentist but from the moment I walked in I was treated with such kindness. From the ladies at the front desk to the assistant and hygienist. Every one made me feel welcomed and at ease. The Dr was very informative and had great chairside manner! Thank you everyone for such great hospitality! I will def be referring my friends to you!
