If you have Cigna through PBA do not come to this dentist, find a dentist that will respect the contracted amount with Cigna so you don’t have to pay out of pocket. As I did an extraction today and they did bone graft, Cigna’s contracted amount is $210 but this dentist office charges $500 for bone graft so they won’t respect the contacted amount with Cigna and want Cigna patients to pay the difference even though our coverage says we have 0 responsibility. Find a better in-network dental office that will respect Cigna’s contract amount and won’t charge you the difference. They also want me to pay $1500 out of pocket for implants. never coming back here again nor any of my family members.

Reply: I spoke with Cigna and they told me they gave you guys a contracted amount for bone grafting and it wasn’t $0, no one is asking you to work for free the insurance is paying you, you guys are money hungry and trying to make me pay the difference and Cigna said that’s not suppose to happen since they are paying you guys. I have the pre authorization as well and you guys are suppose to based on the contracted amount with Cigna and not charge me the difference on the day of the extraction when I have no choice. Once the bill is settled with Cigna you guys will see and if my money is not returned I will also be filling a financial claim with Cigna.

So if it says $0 patient responsibility and my insurance gave you guys a contracted amount and they are paying you, why am I paying out of pocket?

I love this office. I recently switched dentist and I made the right decision. Starting with the office manager Krystal, she was very helpful and knowledgeable with explaining my insurance benefits. Not only did she accommodate my schedule but she also made sure I scheduled my future appointments. She was very personable. The assistants and the hygienist were nice. Lady, I believe that’s her name, is so sweet. The dentist was very pleasing to the eyes. I wouldn’t mind opening my mouth for him anytime. 😉
