If I could give this office less than 1 star, I would. My husband and I both made the mistake of being seen here. They made a big deal about waiting for specific time frames so that our dental insurance would cover the procedures they were recommending. This lead us to believe they actually knew what they were doing..we were wrong. After waiting their suggested time frame, my husband had what we now know was a totally unnecessary specialized cleaning. A few weeks later we received a bill for about $700 from this dentist. The procedure was not covered. Despite having our insurance information and directing us to come in at certain time frames so that we would be covered, they never actually checked with our insurance to see if we would be covered for this unnecessary cleaning. Obviously we switched dentists at this point. To add insult to injury, this $700 bill has been paid in full and they had the audacity to report the bill to collections. Needless to say we will now have to escalate this issue.
Don’t go here. If you’re already going here don’t trust them to even bother checking with your insurance. Get a second opinion, we wasted $700 on a cleaning and now have to fight to get a paid in full bill out of collections.

I have been going to Dr Mortensen since he took over the practice from Dr Baker. I go twice a year for cleaning and check ups. He has been a great Dentist, his skills are impeccable and he is easy to talk to and ask questions and very professional . He had big shoes to fill when Dr Baker retired. His team is also very good. I love my hygienist, Marybeth. The rest of the staff have always been professional, respectful and helpful. Thank you Dr. Mortensen and Team!

I had been going to Dr. Mortensen’s office for years, happy with my experiences and very impressed with the hygienists. My most recent visit, I was misled into a service they specifically told me was covered by my insurance. When my insurance didn’t pay, I was stuck with the bill and my two calls to request to speak with Dr. Mortensen were never returned. I will not be returning and would not recommend the office for anything other than a simple cleaning.
