First- I hate dentists! I’m terrified of dentists! So much so that there’s usually a 5 to 7 year gap between visits. Not here. I am going every 6 months like you’re supposed to. I had a fantabulous hygienist who I found out left when I showed up for my appointment this past Monday. I freaked. Literally, I almost walked out. But the new hygienist was very patient and sweet and talked to me as we walked back. She gave me control. I could stop when I needed and hold the suction tube the entire time. [that thing’s my binky!] They are all very patient and caring, but most importantly GENTLE!
My biggest pet peeve has always been that they go after the plaque so ferociously they always rake that sharp thing across my gums…which then bleed… which leads to a lecture about gingivitis [even though it was their fault]. Not here… not once! Plus they have a sonic cleaner thing that is way better and gets your teeth cleaner. Who has zero cavities and NO gingivitis??? THIS GIRL!!!
Seriously, they are a wonderful bunch and I’ve never had any issues. Next up– impressions for a guard! Yay— uh… NO.

Let me start this off by saying that I’ve needed extensive dental work from since I was a little kid. I was born with extra teeth. I had to wear braces from elementary school until part way through college. The list goes on. Dr. Williams is the most skilled dentist I’ve encountered and I’ve had at least 5 dentists throughout my lifetime due to my travels and living in different parts of the states. One of the effects of my braces is something called root resorption, which causes the root of the tooth to shrink. Well that tooth cracked and it required bridgework since it cracked down into the root. The procedure was very involved and was beautifully done. He gave me a great smile. He also has top of the line equipment in his office. For example, he’ll mill your crown right then and there! No temporary crowns! He’s also personable and a very likeable person. Best dentist I’ve ever had. 🙂
It had been several years since my last dental visit and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I walked through the door as a new patient. Dr. Andy Williams and his staff blew me out of the water!! The front office staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth did such an amazing job and I was impressed with the time she took to educate me. I had to return for a few fillings and had no problems at all, even better I could barely feel the shots! I recommend Dr. Andy and his friendly staff to all of my friends and family! I won’t go anywhere else!
