Reviews:
I was going to Bright Now in Fresno, but wanted to start with a new dentist closer to home. I met Dr. Smith while looking for Dr. Nunez, whose office closed down. I figured that since his practice was right next door to such of an awesome dentist (so sad Dr. Nunez is gone) that he’d be a good dentist too.
To my sad discovery this man drilled into a good molar, which had no decay, pain, or infection, for 1 1/2 hours. I had to ask for more anesthesia in the process. For over a week it hurt. It really hurt. I dread going back.
Also, he told me that I owe a $50.00 deductible, but my insurance carrier told me that my deductible has been met for the year.
He was nice enough to give me a $100. credit, so my cost was just $200. for a molar crown, which I thought was very affordable.
I hope that Dr. Smith is not planning on hiking the insurance company’s cost because it only covers $1,500. a year. A price hike will still end up costing me overall.
Bright Now was wonderful, the dentist there extracted three teeth on the same day, the next day I had no pain. Bright Now is pretty pricy though.
I don’t know what to do, I feel like I made a big mistake going to Dr. Smith, and he’s just half way done.

Known to many as, “Dr. Pain”. This man told my insurance he performed a root canal on my tooth. I come to find out from a different dentist that he did no such thing to my tooth. The procedure he performed on my perfectly good tooth did not require whatever it is he performed. My current dentist believes Dr. Pain made a mistake. I honestly would stay away from this man. Don’t listen to these other 5 star reviews. They are most likely bot accounts or paid.
I’ve been going to Brandon Smith for several years now. Him and the staff have always been kind without long wait times. His hours are convenient with my typical 8am – 5pm work schedule, as he’s available for later appointments & Saturdays. He’s a no nonsense honest dentist who isn’t out to gut your insurance, or your pocketbook and his work is great! I’ve referred him to my friends who are also pleased with him as well.
