Reviews:
I was impressed with my first front crowncro and how nice some of the dentists are at this office. Unfortunately, after several years I was less than happy because they don’t seem to do crowns well. I paid out of pocket for an implant. It took seven times if going back to the office in seven weeks to get it adjusted right. On the seventh time grinding on paper cased enough pressure to break a piece of bottom filling off a tooth and actually provided more relief then their attempts to adjust the implant crown. Then I had to see another dentist to find out I needed to do physical therapy on my jaw to help loosen the muscle because of the seven weeks of misaligned teeth and for many months I was biting my cheek. Meanwhile the crown catches food at the top of it. Many times I told the dentist I was not happy with the big gap in the crown that catches food. He strung me along at first that they could fix it later and talked me into getting a night guard. At some point around that crown and another they did on the upper left started bleeding and hurting. I was told a paradontal cleaning with antibiotics would fix the problem and that the molar next to the crown was cracked and needed a crown hence the pain. After getting the run around for a year and discomfort and pain my bf took me to his dentist as a cash patient. Turns out neither crown is fitted right and is irritating the gums as is food getting trapped. The implant crown fits at a point which it should not and where I was told shaving it down to help stop biting was the cause of the gap at the top it turns out a point is the problem. It also turns out my tooth isn’t cracked and when the crowned tooth on the left is pounded on it hurts the gum. So now if I want the bleeding and discomfort to stop I have to have new crowns made. But at least I’m not getting a tooth that doesn’t have any problems crowned to cover up the fact that there’s pain because a crown doesn’t fit right. I would not take your chances at this office. I got upset a few times, but gave them every opportunity to make things right here and they just run you around in a circle and tell you it’s something else or there’s nothing wrong. Don’t get back crowns done at this office you will regret it and need to find legal assistance to get anything fixed.
This dental practice engages in predatory and unethical practices. I found this place through the medi-cal smile website and at first glance it feels like dr Daniel and his team are caring and kind, but they are after a huge cash grab. Even with full scope medi-cal, they “found” a ton of issues and gave me a 6k estimate right before they performed “necessary” work. They use scare tactics to manipulate you into believing them. The sales nurse, Karla, even offered to run my credit before I even decided to get my wisdom teeth removed here. They also pushed for me to remove all four at the same time. Daniel Boudaie exaggerated how close they were to the nerve and demanded I get bone grafting. Something my new doctor said is very rare. I went in with urgency to get my wisdom teeth removed and walked out with an estimate for three unnecessary crowns and they replaced all my amalgam fillings without giving me all the facts about replacing them. Apparently it causes extreme sensitivity and they didn’t even do a good job at evening it out so I was in pain for a week. Stay far away from this place, especially if you have medi-cal. As my sister told me afterwards, you are paying for their fancy office and conference room, not quality work. You are nothing but a number and a wallet to this practice.
My experience for 2 years w/ this place was so awful I need to share. When I first went in for a consultation and decided to get Invisalign, without notice they moved offices to a location a lot further from me but I had no choice, I had already signed and started to pay for my treatment. MULTIPLE TIMES they would forget to cut out space in the trays for my attachments and I had to do it myself with a nail file.. I brought it up to the dentist and he said that was ok instead of apologizing and correcting those mistakes. I paid $6,500 and I’m doing my own dental work? Every single concern I’d bring up to him he would rudely dismiss saying “Well compared to where we started..” The work was rushed, the dentist didn’t care, my Invisalign treatment “ended” and my teeth are still crooked. Family and friends have told me that this dentist f’d me over. I’m overall heartbroken bc my smile has always been my biggest insecurity and after so much money and time, it still is. I feel like it takes a lot for me to be this harsh about something but please please please avoid this place.
