I have no fear of going to my dentist’s office. Everyone there makes me feel at home. Today, I went for a teeth cleaning and did not need to be checked by the dentist, but Dr. Heim came in to say “Hello” anyway. He is very patient and always explains everything. I remember how proud he was when he made me a tooth with his 3-D printer. Instead of giving me a temporary tooth and telling me to come back a few weeks later, he was able to sculpt my tooth on the computer, print it before my eyes, clean it and insert it. In less than two and a half hours, I was out the door, a happy camper. I am also impressed with his humanitarian work – in Guatemala and in Connecticut. I highly recommend the office of Dr. Heim and Dr. Carroll.

Let’s face it. No one looks forward to a trip to the dentist. And until they invent a noiseless drill and Novocaine that doesn’t require a needle…going to the dentist is a date with anxiety.

But my anxiety is significantly less when I go to Dr. Carroll. Significantly. He is sweet and gentle and I know when I am in that chair, his focus is completely on me. The man is a peach. Just as important for any dentist is his staff. And Dr. Carroll’s are the best. They know everyone coming in has some level of stress in being there and they know how to make you feel comfortable. The combination of great dentistry and excellent staff are why I won’t go anywhere else. My thanks to Dr. Carroll and staff!

I have been a patient of Dr. Heim since he started his practice in Glastonbury. There are many dentists in the area to choose from but, in my opinion, none would be better. Every dentist has similar equipment. It’s the person that makes the difference. He is kind, gentle and caring. When I got married and had children, we all were, and remain, patients of Dr. Heim. I find his staff outstanding as well. Kathy at the front desk is extremely responsive and so pleasant to deal with. His dental hygienists are nice people, thorough in their work while sensitive to your comfort.
