My teen son had sealants put on his back lower molars at this office. Both molars developed cavities underneath the sealants in less than 6 months. They were discovered at his 6 month cleaning at a new dental office in Barrie. One was substantial. I’m sitting at the dental office now waiting for my son to have the failed sealants received from Dr. King’s office removed and the cavities underneath them repaired.
In addition, I personally had a small filling repaired at this office at the same time my son had his sealants done. The filling fell out in less than 6 months. I have just finished having it replaced at my own cost, as insurance companies won’t pay out on the same tooth in such a short period of time.
While I found the office to be very friendly, the work cost my son damage to two teeth along with two more sessions in the chair under the needle and drill. Because repeat work on the same teeth in such a short time period is not covered by insurance, the total out of pocket for us is roughly $1,000.
Three out of three fillings/sealants from Dr. King’s office failed causing substantial damage. I hope this proves helpful if you are new to the area and looking for a dentist. It is an important decision and very difficult to know if you have made the correct one early on.
Been going to see Dr. King and the best dental hygienist Patricia B. for about 14 years. Best dental practice in the city by far. The entire staff takes the time to get to know you and make you feel welcome which is hard to find in a bigger city. Definitely ask to see Patricia – you won’t be disappointed! I’ve recommended this dental office for years and my friends are still going there!
I have been a loyal patient to Dr. King for many years due to her incredible work and patience. Today, I had the pleasure of having Dr. Good help provide service today. He is absolutely terrific, caring and kind. The procedure was one of the most pleasure experiences and it was minimal Wonderful staff. Keep up the great work.
