Reviews:
By far the worst dentist. I initially went to doctor foster for 6-7 years and he was a fantastic dentist. Extremely honest, wouldn’t try to scam you and was a very kind man. He moved to Dr Kos’s office and shortly after passed away, so i ended up going to Dr. kos for my cleanings. Her receptionist Nicole and assistants are nice.

In the 6-7 years of going to foster i had 3 total cavities. From the waking moment of seeing Kos all she could find were cavities and multiple of them and the most annoying part was she could never fill them all at once, would make me come back every couple weeks.

The second she knew i didn’t have insurance she was saying i had 4-6 cavities a visit and NEVER even once showing me an x ray for longer than maybe 2 seconds.

She told both myself and my mom that we need root canals. I ended up going to get TWO second opinions and both said i don’t need a root canal and that she is filling the potential start cavities that don’t even penetrate the tooth’s service. They were shocked at the things Dr . kos was saying and told me they are extremely inaccurate and untrue. They stated with flossing you can essentially be fine without a filling. Those multiple cavities Dr Kos kept pushing and warning me about were actually two, both of which weren’t even deep (the other dentists showed me the x rays for over 5 minutes). I didn’t get a second opinion for 6-8 months after this diagnosis from Kost and the dentist said they were still relatively small, when she told me i needed to get them fixed asap.

All she cares about is money and getting it fast. She will pressure you and make you think something that doesn’t even need to be filled needs INSTANT treatment.

My girlfriend also went here and her first question from Kos was “do you have insurance”, then “let’s fit you for a sleep mouth guard”. This was suggested instantly when she never grinds or teeth or even complained about anything. Just wanted the couple hundred dollars of insurance money associated.

One of the receptionists (i think Cindy is her name) is also archaic and has zero technology experience. I needed a doctors note, as I missed an evaluation and it literally took her almost a week to scan and email me a document. It got to a point where she was dodging my calls. I would call from my cell, straight to voicemail then turn off caller ID and she answered then started stumbling when she realized it was me.

Most money hungry scam dentist I’ve ever seen. Enjoy the few thousand bucks. Thankfully there are far better dentists throughout Etobicoke. You’ve been warned.

Dr. Foster, who works with Dr Kos, has been my dentist for several years and I live in fear of the day when he retires.
I came to him on a referral from a friend after another dentist told me I had five cavities (I had never previously had a cavity in my life), a second opinion said I had no cavities but needed a root canal, and when I asked to see the x-ray they said it was blurred, then they took another x-ray and it became apparent that whatever problem they were seeing on my teeth was an artifact on their x-ray machine.
We’re in an age of super dodgy dentists.
Dr. Foster cleans your teeth himself, he hasn’t ever recommended any unnecessary treatments and does not demand an X-Ray every visit (I count that as a positive, but maybe some people dream of turning into the Hulk), his prices are good and he’s a really nice guy. Unfortunately he only works a couple days a week, but given the alternatives, as long as he is practicing, I will make the time to see him.
very bad experience, i was late today because my car died, and they knew it, but after tried my best ( restarted my car with help from a very nice gentleman and paid parking meter to finally sit in her office), i was told to come back again, because my appointment was half an hour and dr. was on the phone talking to somebody. I was never told it was just half an hour appointment, and because dr. was talking on her phone during my appointment time, she could not spare me 5 mins after my so much effort.
