Dr Brad was so wonderful with all 3 of our young crazy special needs boys yesterday but particularly with our level 3 autistic son with extreme sensory processing issues which is just so rare in this world let alone at a private dentist surgery that I felt compelled to leave a review which I never do.

He spent considerable time and patience over and above gaining our significantly autistic sons trust, making him feel comfortable with the environment as well as thoroughly explaining in few words what instruments are used for what purpose and gently exploring them with our son to get him familiar and not afraid. He even instinctually knew to use deep pressure to calm our boy and deflect lights adjust seating position and everything We didn’t have to say a thing he just knew!

His compassion, knowledge and experience from the get go had my partner and I gob smacked. It was so nice to go somewhere and feel understood and comfortable without explaining our extensive family medical history from start to finish he just knew his stuff without us having to go into detail.

Our son is almost 11 and for the first time ever yesterday had a dentist touch his teeth. Needless to say we are still smiling and looking forward to his next appointment already instead of being sick with nerves just thinking about it.

I had an extremely bad toothache that was hurting the whole side of my face including my eye. I left work to find a dentist. I rang quite a few different dentists and I finally called Dr Smiles, the receptionist said come in straight away, she had an appointment in ten minutes and they would be able to do something for me. I got there and Brad took an X-ray, he then looked at it and said he couldn’t tell which tooth was the problem. At that point I realised that there was not a qualified Dentist on site. I had my own script of antibiotics for something else. I was charged $190 for nothing. The receptionist said my X-ray was of value, but will not give it to me. While I was asking her some questions, Brad came downstairs and stood beside the desk, he interrupted me me to say his next appointment was not coming and proceeded to walk out the door.I feel like I was tricked into going to the surgery. They knew there was no Dentist that could help me.I would definitely not recommend this surgery.

It was my first time in this clinic and I was very happy the way they treated me. Thank you to both Lisa and Jacque who went above and beyond their job making sure that I was fully informed of what suitable treatment I needed. They even done the referrals for a specialist for me and booked an appointment. They are both very kind, compassionate, caring, supportive and very professional in the way they conduct themselves. I even have a follow up phone call from Lisa to make sure I am OK. It was an emotional and challenging experience a dentist appointment for me in the past but with them they make it easier creating a calm & supportive environment. I informed my family to book their next dental appointment with them as I know they will be treated well. Thank you once again.
