I was already warned by my colleagues that this clinic has a tendency to impose additional out-of-pocket charges if you’re using a health/HMO card, but I have a flight in a few days and it was the only nearby clinic accredited by my HMO that still had an available slot for cleaning. So I took my chances. It’s crazy because immediately after being seated and removing my mask the dentist was already talking about tooth stains even before my teeth were examined properly and I had barely opened my mouth yet. Then she said she’ll charge an extra 1500 pesos on top of the health card because of the “stains” she was seeing. I said I don’t care about the stains, just do the standard cleaning. It was only after I said this that she properly examined my teeth, after which she said she will still charge 1500 because there was a lot of plaque (which is exactly what a cleaning is meant to address). I said no and walked out. For 1500 or even 2000 pesos, even without a health card, I can already get a really good cleaning at a high-end reputable dental clinic inside a mall. So that’s what I did, I just drove to the mall and got a good cleaning plus treatment at a known clinic for 2k. I’m not going to spend that amount on a little-known clinic that’s supposed to be accredited by my HMO but seems to want to rip off patients with health cards. I should have listened to my colleagues, would have saved me time.

All our family members and friends would only trust Doc Mike Japson and his sister Doc Marifin whenever we need to see a dentist. They are both very accommodating and easy to deal with even the staff/assistant at the clinic. Paschedule lang po kayo ahead kc medyo mallit lang po ung clinic pero madami po appointments.. Pero you can try naman din to walkin and they will surely accomodate you as much as possible.
My cousin who is a seaman had a case and ilang dentist ang pinuntahan. May times pa na 2dentist pinagtulungan ngipin nya at hndi kinaya. He felt hopeless kc need na nya for his medical/dental requirements pra mkasakay. Buti na lang nagtanong xa samin and we recommended Doc Mike whose expert even in surgeries.. Good thing hindi kami nabigo and since then dami pa cases na napabilib nila kmi.. Plus very competitive prices nila sa services even their xray.. Hopefully ma approve na rin cla sa Intellicare ayaw kc ng Intellicare iapprove for some geographic reason.

Had a very pleasant experience at this clinic. Receptionist was very accommodating and responsive over Facebook. Clinic was clean with great sanitation protocol but without extra charge even for the PPE.

Doctora thoroughly explained the state of my teeth, the options I can take, the possible results, and the costs.

I had my first and third molar removed in one go. Before the procedure, they had me take tranexamic acid to lessen bleeding. They applied topical anesthesia before the injection to lessen the pain of the needle. The procedure took very long because of how complicated it was, but it was all painless.

Doctor Mike even packaged all the costs (two x-rays plus the two extractions and an oral antiseptic) so I paid less in total.

Oh, and they accept credit cards!

Definitely gonna be my go-to dental clinic.
