Reviews:
From beginning to end, Dr. Rumack and everyone I came into contact with at her office were amazing! And here’s why.

The day after my son, our second child, was born we learned that he had a tongue-tie that needed to be revised in order to help him latch and breastfeed easier. I called Dr. Rumack’s office that same day and learned that she was booked out for weeks. However, they made time to see us the next day. Dr. Rumack pointed out the problems we are likely to run into if my son doesn’t get the frenectomy. It was like she was describing the experience we had with my first child, our now two-year-old daughter, who also had a tongue-tie. Only we elected not to perform the frenectomy at the time because no one could give us a definitive answer as to why my daughter was not latching properly. That led us down a stressful road of making sure my daughter was getting enough milk from breastfeeding, counting dirty diapers, watching our baby’s weight obsessively, and eventually switching to formula sooner than we had hoped (3 weeks after birth).

We had hoped for a corrective experience with our second child and we’re happy Dr. Rumack helped to make that possible. She understood the urgency of our situation and fit us in immediately to complete the frenectomy. Dr. Rumack gave me clear instructions post-op and demonstrated a few exercises I needed to continue with my son to avoid a regrowth of the tongue-tie. The exercises bothered my son for the first two days and he was used to it after. What seemed like a nightmare situation actually turned out to be very easy to manage.

Dr. Rumack said it best, it takes a village to raise a kid, and I’m so very grateful that she was willing and able to help us in a time of need. We cannot recommend Dr. Rumack and her dentistry office enough.

Thank you again and again Dr. Rumack et al!

It was a long road to get here but Dr. Rumack is incredible. I worked with 3 lactation consultants, 2 pediatricians and 1 ENT prior to seeing Dr. Rumack. She was the first person to really hear me and take me seriously. My son had a class iv posterior tongue tie. He was 11 months when we had the procedure done, it was very quick. It was same day as our consultation. He latched immediately after the procedure and it was pain free for the first time. The follow ups were thorough, but still quick. The exercises, while he may have been unhappy did not hurt. I was able to the exercise while he slept peacefully. I had instant relief after 11 months of painful breastfeeding. That by itself was life changing, but even more so after 11 months of slow weight gain and some trouble with solids due to the tongue restrictions. My son sleeps deeper now. He is able to eat solids, his tongue has much more function. I wish we had been referred to Dr. Rumack on day 1, but I am so thankful that we did it at 11 months. He is now 13 months. I am so grateful that we did this, especially when considering that tongue ties can be a root cause for behavioral and speech issues later on.
We feel incredible grateful for having found Dr. Rumack.
Our son was born with tongue-tie and it was a nightmare having him to breastfeed. We called Dr Rumack on a Friday in February and even though she was booked up until April, she took us in the day after at 08:00 am to make the procedure.

During the whole session, my husband and me felt incredible heard and we got the feeling that she really cares about her patients. She is super friendly, very professional and she took the time to explain what was happening with our son’s tongue-tie, show us all the exercises that we need to do afterwards and she even followed up the next day with our IBCLC to check on my son’s breastfeeding skills after the procedure.
Also, the procedure also includes two follow up visits to make sure that the tongue tie is healed properly.

Again, me and my husband feel incredible grateful for having found her and would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing problems related to tongue-tie!!!!
