Reviews:
My experience here has been very traumatic and a big reason in why I do not trust the medical field, especially dentistry. I came here for a root canal for an abscessed tooth, the procedure during the root canal seemed fine and I was comfortable. However Dr. Riser left one of his assistants to fill in the root canal. When the assistant took over she worked on it for a minute before being interrupted by the front desk lady for some reason, she rushed the rest of it and must have done something horribly wrong because when I got up and took the clamps off I felt tremendous pain as if I felt all of what was happening in the root canal now that it was over, I told the front desk and assistant this but they told me she had to go to some ambulance and said theyll just send a ibuprofen prescription to my CVS over an hour away. I am lucky my wife was there to drive or else I wouldn’t have been able to! FURTHERMORE, I mentioned I still felt the abscess after the procedure was done and they assured me that whatever they gave me would take it away in a week and I could get a crown. Went to Michigan to get my crown and the Dentist there told me that they could not put the crown on because THESE PEOPLE did not properly do the root canal NOR drain the abscess! So now I have to pay whatever is left to these false dentists and redo the whole root canal again to get it done properly. NEVER COME HERE DRIVE FURTHER AND FURTHER!
I am claustrophobic and can’t breathe through my nose, so I avoid the dentist until I can’t. I told them that I was scared, and Dr. Feldman came in and was a very calming presence. He cut a hole in the rubber that was over my mouth so I could breathe, then he gently talked me through the whole thing. The reason they are at 4 stars for me is because one, they do not have an anesthesiologist, and two, the temporary crowns are sharp and they didn’t fill the hole all the way so everything gets trapped in it. Also, my bite is crooked, but they didn’t check it before I left. But all in all, I had a good an experience. Their building makes me feel like I’m on medicaid though, it’s not been updated since the 1900’s and there are 10 mostly unmatching lamps in their tiny waiting room.
Consultation and Services performed by my Endodontist, Dr. Scott Risser during my procedure were handled in a very communicative and calming manner. It was as though I was going to my regular dentist to get a cavity filled. The procedure done was a bit more extensive, I am confident in my choice and hope that my teeth will not need the same services performed again but if it was needed, I know where to go. Five stars for Doctor Risser and the staff. Recently edited after the appointment visit three years ago.
