As a new patient recently referred to Dr Magalhaes for a root canal, I feel very grateful to be in her care. From the thorough initial assessment, to a requested phone consultation, to the actual procedure, Dr Magalhaes provided clear communication, detailed information and clear explanations. She is very personable & it is evident she genuinely cares about the professional services she provides her patients. Her assistant was also thoroughly competent in her role. No one loves a root canal…but she made it bearable with her precision skills and her communication. I would 100% recommend Dr Magalhaes & her team at Erie Street Dental.
I have been known to suffer from anxiety attacks in the dentist chair, so it is important to me to find a dentist who is both competent and sympathetic. I have been a patient of Dr. Margolis for several years and she has made me feel very comfortable on every visit. Moreover, the quality of her work (as far as I can tell) is excellent and she does not overcharge or encourage unnecessary dental work. After my first exam with her I was told that several procedures recommended by the previous dentist were not necessary. I am happy to recommend her highly.
