We had a terrible experience with a previous dentist, when my son got his root canal. The dentist did not listen to my son when he said he was hurting him and plowed on through, telling him it wasn’t hurting. Eventually, he applied a second shot of anesthesia. The dentist at Esteem listened and even took a break when my son became quite upset. They listen to the kids. A different dentist/technician worked on the temporary crown and kept adjusting it until my son said it fit just right. I appreciated their dedication to making it right, the first time. Just be sure to clarify exactly what will be taking place when you go, both on the phone and in checking in for the appointment. I did not, with the latter, and almost only got a cleaning, when we were there for a crown. Esteem fixed the error and my son was able to get the crown, as initially scheduled. The mixup was not worth removing a star and we will actually be moving our other kids from their current dentist to Esteem.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I scheduled an appointment in March, but after waiting for 1.5 hours, they informed me they couldn’t do the cleaning because it required a deep cleaning, which wasn’t covered by my insurance. With that information was included an invoice of almost $4,000 for crowns that I apparently needed. After speaking with the manager and agreeing to pay $130 out of pocket, I was told the doctor had already left and couldn’t perform the cleaning.

When the appointment was rescheduled nearly two months later, I arrived to find the clinic closed due to a broken air conditioner the previous day. Other patients were waiting outside, unaware of the closure. I had to initiate contact to reschedule. Finally, when I did get an appointment, they attempted to charge extra for my cleaning. This experience has left me feeling that this place is not reliable or trustworthy.

Very nice , clean professional and fun atmosphere for families. Everyone was very helpful and calming for my anxious 7 year old. The next steps and recommendations are clear and my daughter is excited to go back – which is a real win! Its over an hr drive away for us but still absolutely worth it !
