Reviews:
Do not go here. They will mess up.. Not care, take your money, not cheap either.. I paid $1600, which my brother helped. They knocked out my tooth.. Made, me wear temporaries for 7 months..I had the worst dental student. She, said, often, sit down and be quiet, my friends were idiots and if they were like me, she wouldn’t want them as patients. Hung up on me twice.. Telling me to take my medication. I was”nt on any. I had a brain tumor. Didn’t know untill after. She, did the worst bridge ever! Not, even covering my teeth..Lumpy , round false tooth etc..A bridge specialist had to try and fix her mess. Showed me what it was suppose to look like. The other dentist said, ” they could of done a better job”. I have no Porcelaine in the back. . It goes all the way to the top. And, she copied the first student’s work. Put a bridge on a live tooth. You need a root canal, then put the bridge on ..on purpose. I had to see the Endodontist, to drill through, and finish her job. I emailed her, to express my concerns, and tell her, about her abuse. She, charged me. I lost my P.S.W job, I defended myself, i took over, and did an awesome job! The judge asked me if i thought about suing them. I explained I signed a contract. To get my money back. And,she lied, said I went to her work. Apparently, I was going to assult her. I am 4″ 8, 102 pounds. She, is 5″6 ish almost 190 lbs . .I hate people now. I don’t trust anyone. Cops laughed when I came in..”What this little thing”.I had to get a mug shot and finger printed..I brought my dental records, they didn’t record that in my belongings, nor did they get me a lawyer. Got my description wrong. I had been set up.. My friend’s clients were a criminal lawyer, and a DA. He told them, the lawyer said that’s discusting. And, the DA said, they took advantage of her.. And this Narcassist says i”m always in the fridge she said. Well, you can tell, I was thinking. My record got erased after 3 years. During that 3 years, I did liver treatment, had my brain tumor removed etc.. God’s way of dealing with it. My elderly friend said, she’s not done with life yet. Everyone knows about her, I am well know everywhere. She did this to someone else, complete Narcassist. Because of her and this clinic . Lots of therapy. The doctors agreed, they abused you. And, their discusting, they said. How, do you pick on someone with a brain tumor? They have no ethics. They, changed original documents. Put the first student’s name on it. I have the records at home.. I made complaints about this clinic. Professional Health Standards Board Wrote the President of the University, Royal College of Dentistry, got a lawyer, which sucked! wrote Citytv, and more.. I got a hand delivered letter, from the Univetsity, My understanding is, they now, have to change their policies and ways. Atleast something good came out of my ordeal. I am not allowed on their property. Or I will be charged. I don’t want to go on your property anyway . I now understand, why I felt dizzy and nauseated everytime, I left that clinic. I would go to the washroom and throw up..My tumor, was trying to tell me, you just got abused. All of this, for trying too save money for dental work.. Avoid clinic 1 ..That’s where the dummies are.. They, are not trained properly.. If you have to go here, ask for Clinic 2.. Don’t let them practice on you. For this and that. Infact, your just a dummy to practice on. The first student, put all these fillings for nothing. No cavities.
. If you don’t want it , don’t do it. Or avoid anyone trained at this clinic period. Find, a dentist, who was trained at another University. I made it more civilized for people to get dental work here. The minute you get mistreated, I urge you to speak up. It is your right! No one deserves mistreatment, getting dental treatment. I no longer trust people anymore. Thanks, to this place! Just be careful.. And, bring someone with you, for ears and eyes. And, make mental notes. Even record everything.
Went for oral surgery to remove one wisdom tooth. It seemed successful I was sent home with instructions…. Don’t smoke, don’t drink, no straws, no rinsing, salt water only after 24 hr. 3 days later I get an infection. I go to mount sanai Hospital they noticed a piece of my jaw bone was attached to the tooth (I kept the tooth and brought it to the hospital) now I’m on antibiotics for 10 days. They didn’t want me to go into septic shock. My advice would be proceed with caution. the faculty of dentistry does not prescribe any medications, they just send you on your way. I would be very worried if I had to go back. And I totally understand each surgery has risks and there is only so much oral care that can be done And it could have happened even in private practice. I just wish someone told me “hey some of you bone came out too” but nope. Cost me $113 to pull the tooth, $28 for laughing gas and $30 in parking. Might be worth going to a local dental clinic with the licensed staff. I think maybe more transparency about what is left over after tooth came out would have helped.
If I could leave a 0 star I would.
In the beginning they seemed knowledgeable and friendly, however, I started having issues with a denture that they had made and after manual modification by the student using a drill and other items. The denture was lose. I tried to contact them but they were on summer break.
When I finally got through, I was told there was no warranty as I was told by the previous student who has no graduated.
Even the “Emergency” dental student told me there are warranties.
Now I am stuck with something that cost a lot of money, is useless because it is lose and the admin staff will not take responsibility.
Can someone please contact me to resolve?
I will be sending a message to the local news agencies to follow up and do their investigations into how this place really is.
for now AVOID at all costs! Find an alternative!
