I have been going to this practice for over 30 years. Though it changed hands in 2018, the new owner and the staff (both existing and new) continue to be excellent. Over time, they’ve provided a variety of services: braces, sealants, whitening and fixing chipped teeth, plus routine care. The care and service alone is worth the 45 minute “drive home” to Family Dental of Pendleton, but honestly, it’s the people too.

Even if you don’t choose this practice, may I give you a tip? Get sealants. For your kids, for adults. They are expensive when not covered by insurance but they are one of the best preventive services you can get done and they last 7-10 years. They have definitely helped keep my teeth in great condition. I’ve had mine since I was a teenager and I get them redone even now, and I’m almost 40.

I totally recommend Family Dental of Pendleton. I have always had a good experience here. The dental hygienists have done a wonderful job making sure my teeth are thoroughly cleaned, that I understand what to do after the cleaning and to let me know about problem areas. Dr. Boehm and Dr. Johnston both have been patient and allowed me the extra time I need to get numb before working. They let me know what the charges would be ahead of the work. I had a relative who hadn’t been to the dentist for a while and they were very non judgemental about helping this person out. I am very glad I found this dental practice!

If you’re looking for a dentist, I’d highly recommend choosing Family Dental! I’ve never been disappointed in their services. They are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and always double check for any concerns or questions you have. Whether it’s routine dental care or my Invisalign appointments, they always make sure I’m taken care of and comfortable. They’re terrific at educating and listening through procedures so you know what’s happening and understand what to expect. More than anything, they smile and they’re kind. It seems like everyone enjoys their jobs and likes to be there and that speaks volumes!
