Reviews:
Went in for severe toothache.
After hours in the waiting room.
X-rays taken.
Multiple necrotic teeth with large abscesses pushing into my sinus cavity and wrapped around a nerve.
I regularly suffer antibiotic resistant infections (due to 80s docs for antibiotics). Requested an Oral Surgery referral and high dose antibiotics so the extractions could be performed more safely.
Dentist reluctantly wrote script for low dose Clindomyacin.
Office was then closed for 10 days due to COVID.
They refused to refill my prescription, even though the infection had not gotten better.
Attempted to get an appointment with University of Detroit Mercy, Fireburg REFUSED to properly write a referral. I received one refill of a week of antibiotics (it regularly takes 2 weeks of antibiotics at 2000mg or more per day). When I attempted to get another I was told that I needed to stop drug seeking.
I was asking for ANTIBIOTICS not Vicodin!!!
Ended up having multiple broken, necrotic teeth removed by University of Detroit Mercy Dental Clinic.
I wouldn’t go back to Fireburg if they paid me. And I make sure my friends, family and random strangers on the street never go their either.
Just because you’re the *dentist of last resort* for many, doesn’t mean that you can treat people like something they scraped off their shoes.
