I have been going to Gental dental only becuase my insurance carrier. The first time I scheduled an appointment for tooth pain. They said come in and we will take care of you. Once I get there they did an X-ray then wanted to schedule me out for a tooth extraction two weeks later. Which they never mentioned it had to be scheduled that far out. Only because they have one provider that works under my policy. That was a hard pill to swallow as the pain was excruciating.

One week later I called them and asked if I could be seen sooner as the pain was getting much worse. They ended up referring me to a different location, they scheduled me sooner and when I was at the appointment they had me slotted for the wrong service and almost rescheduled me. Thankfully I stood my ground and they performed the extraction.

However, there was another tooth they mentioned would need some work. Well a few months later it hits me. I scheduled an appointment they gave me options and I chose a root canal. They said antibiotics will take the pain away as the pain is being caused by an infection in my tooth. I said just as long as I have some relief I’ll wait 3 weeks to get the procedure. It’s been four days on antibiotics and Zero relief. The sensitivity and pain has actually gotten worse. On top of the pain, taking antibiotics and pain medication every few hours it’s not helping. So I Called and asked what I should do. They said try Tylenol. I asked if another provider can see me sooner at a different location like last time and they said the provider will not refere me out. They want to keep the procedure on their schedule. So instead of thinking of their client they care more about the money. Super upsetting. Bad business practices and I’m stuck using them becuase of my insurance. Be aware!

I’ve been coming here for years. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I’ve trusted my care to this doc and even after one opened closer to my house, I keep going back to Wood Village. Only issue in the past with Gentle dental is trying to get billing between offices to line up without patient intervention to fix errors. They do get resolved, it just takes quite some time and effort. Otherwise, the care here is excellent as is the staff bedside manner.

Absolutely love the whole bunch here, from the lovely receptionists to the hygienist Sonny, to the Dentist. The whole place is full of smiles. They go above and beyond every visit to make the joy of dental work as easy as possible on us patients. It’s super clean and I always get a how are you?. I appreciate the quotes before any work, as I personally am a budget stricter. My smile gets better every visit. No new cavities for me.
