I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gerrard Dental in Toronto, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Dr. Irene Shih performed my dental cleaning and root canal, and she exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I expressed my concerns about past difficult experiences with root canals, Dr. Shih listened attentively and went above and beyond to address those concerns. She ensured that those issues would not recur, and her care and attention to detail made all the difference.

During the procedure, Dr. Shih was incredibly caring, speaking to me every step of the way to ensure my comfort. She assured me that if I felt any discomfort at any time, I should let her know immediately. Remarkably, I did not experience any pain or discomfort throughout the entire procedure. It was an incredible experience that has completely changed my fear of going to the dentist.

I also want to highlight Annie, the office manager, who has been a comforting presence at Gerrard Dental for over 30 years. I remember her from when I was a kid, and her continued presence provides a sense of safety and continuity that is invaluable.

Gerrard Dental has transformed from the clinic I knew as a child into a modern, state-of-the-art facility while maintaining its heartfelt commitment to patient care and community. This is no longer just your parents’ dental clinic; it’s a place where you receive real, modern, and compassionate care.

I will definitely be returning and will be telling everyone I know to come here for top-notch dental care.

I’m age 42 and have been under the care of Dr. Victor Lee since I was a child. It’s due time I write a review to recognize and celebrate what a wonderful dentist he is. I am so fortunate to have great teeth and I owe it to regular check ups and cleanings and following his simple advice. These days dentists look for opportunity to bill and charge for procedures that you might not want. Not with Dr. Lee as he is always honest. When I was younger and wanted teeth whitening, he warned me of the risks and after looking into it further it was the right decision. There was another time I had an issue with my tongue I wasn’t aware and he told me about. He promptly referred me to a specialist for further inspection.

I will continue to have Dr. Lee by my side until one day he retires. I highly recommend him as well as his assistant Ann who has been with the practice equally long. She is so pleasant and personable. Excellent team.

Dr Yip was my dentist for for over 10 year after his retirement Dr Irene Shin has been my dentist now.After the renovation clinic look modern adding to calm and positive experience.The personalized attention and emphasis on patient comfort make their practice exceptional .Taking my Dad to the dentist was challenging. Under the new Seniors Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) program I booked an appointment for him after seeing Dr Shin he looking forward to his next visit I guess because Dr shin Spoke Mandarin and now my whole family is planning to see Dr Shin. With her highly skilled team I Highly recommended for anyone seeking exceptional quality and modern dental care.
