First visit with this dentist. I was referred by my dentist which I have notified about this as well. We scheduled an appointment LAST YEAR. They scheduled her apt for 1 YEAR OUT. Yesterday was her apt date at 2:00pm. We arrived earlier than scheduled, drove about an hour to get there & was approached by a lady and younger guy hanging around in the parking lot smoking a cigarette. She advised me that the dentist was not there and I needed to reschedule TWO MORE MONTHS out. Community is very poor. No one called to tell us ANYTHING. My daughter missed school with no doctors note. I missed a day of work and accumulated a point just for this nonsense. My daughter has been insecure about her teeth, so much so that she has worn a mask to school the whole year. My daughter has been terribly upset & crying since yesterday. This is UNACCEPTABLE! The least they could have done was give us a call before 2:00pm if they KNEW the doctor wasn’t there that morning. She has waited A YEAR!! Why would you schedule her apt out for an additional 2 months!!? Why not have those clients come in in June when the next Medicaid apts are instead of July. These clients should have been first priority due to this being no fault of their own. This has my daughter torn to pieces. I pray no one is law has to go through this.
I was a patient as a teen and DID NOT do what I was supposed to (headgear, bands, etc). Therefore, several years after braces were removed and since I didn’t follow the retainer rules correctly (stopped wearing it altogether) I was forced to walk around with not the prettiest smile (responsibility falls completely on patient…ME). Throughout the years I’d see Dr. Goodson in public and he always knew who I was by name and would always offer to fix my smile again, just come back and see him. After 12 years, I went back to him to fix my smile again… guess what… you can’t keep me from smiling now! He’s professional, comfortable with patients and makes them comfortable. He was patient with me as a teenager and an adult. Always inquires to how my life is going and interested in me as a person. I will ALWAYS recommend him FIRST for anyone interested in correcting their smile! I’ve recommended him to family and friends alike and multiple people have chosen him and were/are happy with services received!
Starting off I had braces done by him for almost 4 years. He was rough on my mouth and was rude. Do to his malpractice and moving my teeth around too fast I had a horrible side affect, causing my roots to reduce and my front top 4 teeth are at risk of falling out due to short roots and one of them being very wiggly and won’t ever tighten back up like he said it would. He failed to take X-rays of my mouth to make sure something like this would not happen . And I had brought up my wiggly teeth many many times to him. Please do not go to him you will do better somewhere else. I wish I wouldn’t have got braces I rather have my crooked teeth before then now and them at high risk of falling out .
