I have been going here for year since I was 10 years old and now I’m 22. I got my braces through them, wisdom teeth referral, cavity’s filed you name it. I recently lost a filling( in the last year) I paid my fee to go in and get a new filling in. They put the cheapest, low quality stuff I’ve ever had. My filling is falling out again. It’s all cracked on the bottom when I floss it rips it. Horrible job. THEN on top of that they called me months later trying this get me to pay the full amount AGAIN!! And when I told them I would not pay it again bc my insurance covered what needed to be and I paid the rest. I got in contact w my insurance company sure enough they were just trying to get more money out of. Before 30 after them contacting me they put a debt collector out for me. Which is also illegal. You have to wait at least 30 days to do that. This place is VERY shady, they will have no problem charging you more and you may not even know! Be careful here.
We were visiting Duluth from out of town when my child had an accident and broke his two front teeth, which of course had to be his permanent teeth. You can imagine how worried we were being out of town and this happening to us. I called a few offices and we were able to be seen at Great Lakes Children’s Dental Care. I was very pleased with how they worked with my son and repaired his teeth. We couldn’t even tell they were broken. They were extremely patient with my son. They also explained everything that needed to be done and why. My son didn’t even realize he received and injection since he was distracted by an overhead TV and was on laughing gas. The staff was warm, kind and gentle and made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. Can’t express my gratitude enough for such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend them.
Disgusted with what my son had to go through. After getting a referral from another dentist I was able to get my son in here. I told them he had been in pain and needed a filing done to at least stop the pain. They told me they couldn’t do anything and it wasn’t a worry yet. A week later we were able to get my kid into a dentist in the cities. The dentist in the cities couldn’t believe that the previous two dentists did absolutely nothing for my son. The dentist couldn’t understand why they didn’t do at least a temporary fill. She also couldn’t believe that neither dentist told us our sons teeth were smaller due to grinding. At least the dentist in the cities told us how bad his case was. Both the two before acted like it was no issue. Is this place even accredited?
