I’ve been a patient of Dr, Toy and Great Smiles Dental Center for over 15 years. Great Smiles has certainly lived up to their name having transformed my smile and dental heath beyond what I ever imagined possible.

A change in my insurance led me to Great Smiles. Immediately after my initial visit, I knew that this was the dentist with whom I’d remain. The office manager, Menchie, was friendly and personable. My employer has switched my dental insurance provider at least 5 times, and each time Menchie has seamlessly transitioned my billing with each change. She is an expert at working with patients with billing and insurance matters. She has always made clear what amounts are covered by insurance and what my financial responsibility will be. Her dedication to Great Smiles is certainly evident through the pride she demonstrates for the practice.

Each and every dental hygienist and assistant has been genuinely personable and caring. More importantly, each have demonstrated a professional and trustworthy rapport with Dr Toy which gives me, as the patient, a great deal of confidence that all of my dental care is superior. Each and every cleaning has been meticulously thorough and proves that the hygienists that Dr Toy has employed are ensuring my continued dental health. Even Menchie has administered my routine cleanings and proven that her hygienist abilities are just as superlative as her outstanding office management skills!

I’ve recently completed my Invisalign treatment through Great Smiles. Dr Toy was informative and explained each step throughout my entire lengthy orthodontic experience. Furthermore, Prescitla worked orthodontia magic with my braces in the last months of braces. I was fortunate to have my braces on shortly after Prescitla joined Great Smiles as she had last assisted in an orthodontic practice. She made quick and easy work of difficult and awkward adjustments and repairs, ensuring my continued comfort at every step. She has a sincere and caring disposition that is evident in every aspect of her work. Moreover, It’s obvious she takes great pride and diligence in her work as a proficient and exemplary assistant to Dr Toy.

it’s obvious that Dr Toy has poured her heart into her practice over the years. During my most recent visit, Dr Toy’s commitment to her practice and patients was evident with all of the new protocols the office was adhering to due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From the moment I walked into Great Smiles and had my temperature taken immediately, I knew the office was adhering to stringent protocols set in place to ensure patient safety. Observing this stringent adherence to protocol reassured me that my safety was paramount to Dr Toy and her staff. All staff were properly wearing full PPE and ensured every painstaking detail was followed without cutting corners. This attention to safety not only causes extra work and time to be spent with each patient, but it also adds costly consumables and PPE to be used. It’s quite apparent that Dr Toy will not compromise time nor expense in ensuring the safety of all of her patients and staff. It’s professionals like Dr Toy that will lead the way in businesses proving that life will continue safely in this new normal that we now know.

Other aspects of Dr Toy’s practice and her team that impress me are the constant commitment to continued education of new technology and treatments, referrals to well-regarded specialists, and the general positive and uplifting nature of the entire practice. Not once in fifteen years of frequent visits have I ever had a bad experience. One always feels an air of uncertainty when visiting the dentist, but rest assured the staff at Great Smiles quickly put your nerves and mind at ease allowing one to take a deep breath and relax. The key to any successful business is having pride in one’s profession and workplace. Great Smiles resounds with this pride in every aspect of family dentistry.

After having avoided dentists for an extended period of time, due to extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experiences, I did a LOT (hours) of research on who to trust with my teeth next. The office had great reviews on many different platforms so I called in and scheduled my first appointment for Halloween morning (2018). Upon walking into the office, I was instantly pleased that I chose that location. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and ALL dressed up for Halloween! I loved the fun atmosphere in the office and instant good vibes. Dr. Toy was really informative and referred me to a specialist before continuing to work on what needs to be taken care of. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience! For the first time in (possibly ever) a long time, I actually look forward to coming in to continue my dental care. My mom has also visited Dr. Toy, following my visit, and had nothing but nice things to say as well. 🙂

My husband and I both got a cleaning and Dr. Toy was friendly, informative, and very competent. She and her assistants were thorough in their check up from tooth decay to gum disease — much more than my previous dentist. The receptionists were nice, held my screaming baby while we filled out paperwork, and were upfront about what my insurance covered and didn’t. Will be taking my 3-year-old there next week for her first trip to the dentist!
