Reviews:
I called in to schedule an appointment for a routine check-up to include a cleaning.
However, it somehow ended up in the notes that I wanted to be seen for something other than what I had originally called about. Therefore, I did not get the service for what I specified over the phone. The first discrepancy was that the tools seemed dirty (Picture below), but it must be due to their enclave that leaves stains, but per the doctor and dental assistant, are still sanitized. I did request for another set of the tools they use. They still seemed stained/dirty, but it was explained to me that the sticker that comes on certain tools remain on them somehow. Next, after the conclusion of being seen by the dentist I was walked to the front desk to schedule my next appointment, but it was not explained to me nor the scheduler how to schedule me. I knew I had to be seen again. So, I was schedule for a single date, verbally. When I received the appointment sheet print out it had 2 different dates. I inquired about this; I did not know why it had to be 2 dates. I had overheard the dentist communicate to the dental assistant that it was best to have what I needed done on a single visit to avoid pain. So, I asked the front desk receptionist if she could call the dental assistant up to clarify this so that I schedule the appointments) accordingly. I would have preferred to do it all in one appointment, so I wanted to know if this was possible. It took me asking the front desk receptionist 4 times if she can get the dental assistant so that I may ask about the appointment scheduling to make an informed decision. Afterall, the dentist communicated this to the dental assistant, so she is the only one that knew what took place. Michelle was finally called up and I asked about the scheduling, and she was very nice and explained everything to me as to why it had to be 2 appointments. The scheduler was making faces before Michelle even came up and was rolling her eyes during the conversation between Michelle and me. I did ask the scheduler if there was an issue and if I should take my care elsewhere because she seemed to already be bothered/annoyed when I was asking her if she can call the dental assistant up so that I can ask only a few questions. At one point, after I had told the scheduler that I could see her making faces, she replied, “I’m not making any faces!” and then proceeded to turn around and roll herself on her desk chair over to the opposite side of their office. I tried calling today to speak to Michelle about the issue that I was supposed to be seen for something different, which I had requested, than what was
annotated in their system. Keep this in mind, the only interaction I had with the dentist was when he was seeing my teeth. It turns out that the doctor requested that I am not seen again in his office.
I treated everyone with respect: I did not raise my voice, use profanity, I was not condescending nor belittling. I treated all with integrity. This was my very first visit to this dentist and location. It is quite disappointing that dentist took such a measure without even attempting to communicate with me and provide that customer service as to try and find out what happened and why.
I’ve been going to Dr. McLeod’s office for a few years now and he is HANDS DOWN my favorite dentist. He’s very caring and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explains what’s going on and how he can help. Wonderful bedside manners. I deal with a lot of anxiety with dentists and he helps me feel comfortable and like I have no stupid questions. He also offers great recommendations. And the DA Michelle is amazing too, she also helps me feel calm and explains everything she’s doing. A wonderful office in general, would recommend to everyone!
Dr McLeod and his staff are the BEST! Dr McLeod is honest and does not pressure you in any way shape or form to have any procedure. They don’t look upon you in any way. That’s what I love this office. I was afraid of going to the dentist after a bad encounter. Since finding Dr McLeod the fear is no longer there. So if you are looking for this kind of service and atmosphere, search no longer. You have come to the right place.
Thank you Dr McLeod and staff for being so remarkable.
