I went to the Rockledge Christie Dental last year. First thing I was told was that they took my insurance. Then before seeing the Dentist they wanted x-rays. They wanted “special x-rays” that cost $300. Then I see Dr. Nguyen Hai. He says that he needs to pull a tooth that has a cavity and that gets scheduled. It was almost $2,000 for that process. And you have to wait 4 months for that to heal.Then it’s $1,300 to put a post in and that will take another 4 months to heal. Then a screw is wedged in there taking 3 weeks to heal. After a impression is made it was 2 weeks before the crown came in. It was$1,800. The crown was put in today with it taking almost a year to get a tooth in that spot. I didn’t get the right color that matched my other teeth. A color I had picked out and that was disregarded. And on top of that, the tooth is not the same size as my teeth around it. It is the wrong color and too small. This office lied to me about taking my insurance. They don’t take Humana HMO they accept PPO but didn’t tell me that. Most of that money basically came from my own pocket. The dentist is very rough handling your mouth or your lips. You can tell him he’s hurting you and he just disregards that as well. So it’s expensive to go there. It would have been even more because the second to the last appointment I was given a bill for $2,800. I told them I would not pay that bill because it was not the price I had been told. The staff get together and after about a 5 minute discussion they came back with the answer that their prices had gone up. But I could pay the price that had been an estimate when I first started. You are in pain by the roughness of the dentist and then you end up disappointed with the results of the lab he uses. I do not recommend going to this office or that dentist.

I went to Dr. Nguyen to repair a dental implant that had broken. My previous dentist had implanted it incorrectly and after a few years of it coming loose the screw finally just broke. Dr. Nguyen did an excellent job of fixing it with a new implant. He worked especially hard to make sure that it was done properly and fit perfectly which was especially difficult due to the way the original was implanted. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing dental care. He is an excellent dentist and a very nice man.

The dental hygienist and the dentist were very patient with my four year old while trying to take an x-ray. They tried and tried lol it was very impressive as most would have given up. (I know the x-ray is billable but it’s the fact that they made an effort to get the X-ray) They we’re also very knowledgeable and gave clear concise recommendations for follow up dental care. I was very satisfied with my visit.
