I’m so grateful for Amy going above and beyond in her role, yesterday. She called me at 8am sharp to see if I can come in for a last minute appt at 9am and was so kind as I explained my situation. Based on past experiences as other dentist offices, I didn’t expect to have staff treat me with so much empathy, understanding and urgency. Amy greeted me with a smile and got me setup right away which was kind and needed.
Dr Barsness saw me first; I like to ask questions and he answered them without frustration and explained everything in great detail which eased my anxiety tremendously. His gentle nature and willingness to do multiple tests to find the root of my tooth pain shows how much he cares about his patients and practice.
Linda walked me through the next steps after Dr. Barsness was finished and she helped me get ibuprofen as my pain was almost intolerable. Linda walked me out to the waiting room, answered a couple of questions i had and made me feel at ease when i told her i was nervous about the extraction. Even after she passed me along to Lisa, Linda came to check in on me as I was getting prepped for extraction; that was so kind and appreciated!
Lisa was exactly who I needed for my extraction; she was empathetic yet thorough in her directions; she didn’t minimize my fear of feeling the pain during my extraction; she talked me thriving the numbing process and reminded me to breathe =P Linda felt like a friend helping me through a hard procedure..thats a rare quality!
Lastly, Dr Christensen was direct but kind. After Lisa told relayed my concerns, he reassured me a few times that he’d take care of me and he did just that. I’m glad that his schedule was open for him to help me.
Overall, I’d recommend this clinic, specifically this team, to anyone. Going to the dentist is scary and unknown so having staff who care about their patients is so important.
I slept well for the first time in 2 weeks because of Amy, Lisa, Linda, Dr Barsness, Dr Christensen and the rest of the Como team. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!

No stars actually. This place is busy, but not because it is a great place. The building and dental office setup are all out of date, rooms felt grimy. I went in for an urgent cavity fill after one fell out (put in by a different HP dental clinic). The dentist, DDS Pancholi, did not use enough of the resin, so it still feels like there is a divot or hole in my tooth. I returned within a week to have it looked at again, the same dentist chose to shave down my tooth to match the divot and told me I would just have to get used to it. No offer of refilling properly. Still had to pay for it. Very condescending.

They are booked out for at least a month for wisdom teeth surgery, and only offer ONE emergency slot a day, where they said they would only pull one of them. I had a severe infection in my jaw that was spreading, and even with antibiotics they confirmed that I needed them removed ASAP or I would keep getting infections ASAP to them meant August. Luckily I found a great dentist in Shakopee who did the procedure same day. Could have lost my jaw and the only response was “try again for the emergency slot tomorrow”
