Can not say enough good things about Helen, Dr.Gagner, and the entire staff at Highlands. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been to the dentist and never looked into getting one when I moved to Kelowna five years ago – until I had a tooth bothering me during my pregnancy and knew I needed to seek professional support. After a recommendation from my midwife, I got an appointment as a new client within a week and was met with the most warm, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff from the front end to Dr. Gagner himself. He took the time to sit with me and explain, did not pressure or push any sort of treatments, and reassured me of the process and options available. He provided an actual tangible and affordable solution – I’m even looking forward to being able to go back for a full check up and cleaning after my pregnancy sickness subsides!! Thank you SO MUCH for everything, I will continue to share my positive experience and recommend your services/ business to anyone including making you my family’s primary dentist.

I’m convinced everyone you could meet at this clinic are passionate, compassionate, caring human beings. The rates matched my insurance fairly and were covered. The location is convenient with free parking, clean and nice looking with a cozy waiting area. Helen, you’re just a gem. Keep being you. My girlfriend just signed up too and had a great onboarding experience with you also. Jackie, I hope you spell your name this way- but you made me feel so comfortable. I am diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and I was taken seriously, treated very nicely, and had a great experience with all of the staff at this office. Dr. Gagner, you were a pleasure to interact with and you went into as much detail as I wanted and I learned a few things. I could see there was genuine passion in your work. Thank you!

I have a pretty big anxiety around going to the dentist, and I hadn’t been for quite a while. I was having some tooth pain and heard good things about Highlands family dental -so I made an appointment, they were quick to respond and very kind &helpful. The staff didn’t make me feel silly for being so nervous, in fact the opposite, they were very compassionate. I’m really thankful they went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable, and helped fit me in on a tight schedule, they also did a great job identifying and fixing my tooth pain. Dr. Simmy was simply fantastic, if you’re looking for a compassionate dentist who creates a safe environment & also really knows their stuff – this is the place to go.
