Before the current pandemic, the experience of being a patient here was one reflecting both a high level of care and expertise on the medical side, and great efficiency and a real effort made by reception staff to work around patients’ personal circumstances on the admin side. The very low staff turnover here is telling and enables secure, trusting relationships to be built between staff and patients.
Despite all the additional measures needed to be in place at the moment and the increased pressure on staff to apply these, there is no change whatsoever in their usual high standards.

After nearly 40 years with another practice in Derbyshire, having moved to Market Deeping I was pleased to register with the Team at High Locks following the start of what appeared to be an abcess developing. Could not have had a better experience from the initial welcome from the Reception Team through to the first consultation with Drew Francis. The problem has been dealt with in a highly professional manner in a smart and clean surgery that I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. We have booked an appointment just now just for a filling. Before anything they take your card number and charge PS110 as “first appointment” just for a examination. After that visit you have to pay another appointment for the filling. An “examination” is mandatory before any kind of action, you should be ashamed of charging for that. People are struggling out there. It’s pure greed in a business that already pays off.
