Dr. Andrew Forster at Hillside Dental at Bethany rescued me from a dental emergency. After being in the area for only a couple of days, I lost a crown late at night. I looked at Google reviews for a local dentist and found that Dr. Forster had rave reviews and a mention of being compassionate. I was on their doorstep when they opened. They were extremely busy (which was a good sign), but the office was so well-run that they were able to assure me that they would completely take care of me. I had an added concern of possible jaw problems that can be caused by dental work because of a medication that I am taking (Zometa). Dr. Forster was completely knowledgeable on the subject and discussed my concern and gave me enough information to realize I did not need to worry. He explained everything he was doing before he did it, which made the whole thing less stressful. I gathered from my time at this practice that Dr. Forster is a very precise, gentle dentist that does high-quality work, and it is obvious that all of the staff not only enjoy their jobs and their work environment but they are good at what they do. I will continue under the care of Dr. Forster, and I highly recommend this practice.

My family members (4) have been patients of Dr Forster for more than a decade. He is the best dentist we’ve ever had. I should have written a review long ago, but what prompted me now is that I had my first root canal yesterday. I was dreading it, but he did a terrific job; and my root canal was more difficult than normal. (I also called about tooth pain and they got me in within hours.) He nailed the pain management, making the whole procedure feel more like a long visit for a filling. He took time to explain things as well. I’ve had almost no discomfort since then (24 hours ago), and he even called me this morning to see how I was doing. I shouldn’t have been surprised b/c I’ve always had a good experience there, whether with him directly or his staff. Highly recommended!

I have been with Dr. Forster at Hillside for about 15 years. I have absolute confidence in his knowledge and skills. He always makes the extra effort to ensure his patient is fully informed of whatever procedure is to be performed. He always asks if you have questions or concerns and addresses them in an unhurried and patient manner. He also seems to posess an endless knowledge of … almost anything. Of course, as a dental patient, one doesn’t have much of an opportunity to challenge his accuracy … not a lot of dialog. I hope i never have to change dentists.
