Cliff notes: Amazing dentist and top-notch staff! Highly recommend! (excellent for anxious patients, including mega anxious children… they have a ‘candy’ machine that they get a coin for to get a prize after the appt. How thoughtful is that)

I recently moved to this dental office after relocating to Dartmouth. I had originally inquired about Dr. Claire Kanasewich due her well known reputation of being an excellent dentist for children. Her practice was full, but we were placed with Dr. Salim (Previously Dr. Fredericks, but he has since retired) To give some context, my child has severe anxiety (from toddler to now, at almost 8). Their experiences with dentists have been typically unsuccessful (they needed to be fully sedated for the procedures once visible damage was noticed )

Dr. Salim is very gentle and explains the procedures, which I can see would be very reassuring for ANYONE who may have the slightest anxiety towards dental work (ex. explaining what noises or procedures would be happening, showing the tools he’ll use)

The dental assistant, I believe her name is Mel (according to the website) is also an absolute rockstar. During an appointment yesterday for my high anxiety child, this team were incredibly patient, kind and not the least bit pushy (even though I know they are on a schedule for each patient). Mel had suggested they leave the room so I could discuss solo with my child, and this was the ticket. We were able to get to a calm place and have the procedure done.

When I returned today for my own appointment, again, they were the same superstar team with the same level of professionalism. It was the quickest and easiest filling I can recall getting done.

Wanda, the dedicated administrator for Dr. Salim, is also very efficient and kind. She was quick to help with any questions I had.

All in all, I highly recommend this dental office (and Dr. Salim) for anyone who is looking for a dentist!

I had a filling fall out while on vacation and made an appointment to have it replaced when I returned home.It was certainly not an emergency and I felt very comfortable and confident that Dr Najla and her assistant did a fantastic job replacing my filling. They were telling me what to expect and making sure I was feeling fine throughout the whole procedure. It was a very positive experience. I recommend them highly!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hasan Salim earlier this week. I am a Nervous Nellie when it comes to dental appointments, but Dr. Salim, and his assistant, made me feel completely comfortable . He explained everything he was doing, and what problems may arise. I will also add that my visit was pain free. First time ever! Thank you so much, Dr. Salim. I wish I could give you more than five stars!
