So i had 3 appointments with Hilton dental. The first a cleaning, no problems all good, they suggested another 2 follow up visits with a written quote. $500 each visit. Ok fair enough i’ll get some work done sealing off some teeth no problem.
Each of the following visits were fine, its dental work. But i go to pay for the first visit and its $560. I ask and the people said they did some extra work so the next visit will be $440.
Come up for the second visit. Same again the actual work being done is fine no problems.
After the sealing has been done i get asked by Dr. Hilton
“would you like to do a scan of teeth?”
“whats it for?”
“oh you just have overbite occlusion we just want to do a scan for that”
“oh ok sure go ahead”
They then do the scan and tell me about a night mouth guard for another $720, and i was aware of the problem before hand and was going to try some other solutions before i was going to get the dentist to look after it.

Then i arrive to the reception to pay for the visit. So now instead of being $440 like i was quoted it is now $520. I ask why the price difference. And apparently the scan was $140.
It would’ve been nice to know that at the point of scanning rather than after the scan. But i guess i agreed to the scan. I should’ve been more aware of what i was agreeing to.
Be aware of any quotes given by this business and make sure you understand all the work being done on that day.
Booked to consult on having a front tooth that had been removed, replaced. They do X-rays, scans and tell me about othe issues nothing on my front tooth cost for other issues $4420. Another appointment made and I rang to say at this appointment I want to discuss front tooth. All good until I get a phone call from owner telling me I have to have all other work done first and in a very rude manner. Would never use the business again just a money grab
