I have been going to Jagmin Dental and seeing Dr’s Larry and Gary for nearly 20 years. Last Monday 9.25.23, my crown fell off. I immediately contacted Jagmin’s office, explained to them what happened and was hoping to get an appointment. They told me they would keep my chart by the desk and when something came up or somebody canceled, they would call me. Today, 10.5.23, I called and left, a message asking them when they were planning on putting my crown back in, that it’s starting to bother me. I receive a callback from the front desk, was told they had appointments between 9 and 10. I made a 9:30 appointment, spoke to the person I nanny for, whom works from home and she said 10:00 would be better, that the baby would be napping then. So I called back, on speaker, in front of my boss and said I need to change it to 10:00. I go to my appointment and they said, I missed my appointment, that they told me 9:30. I in return replied, ” I called back and said 10 o’clock and you said okay”, she answered with, ” There’s a patient in there now that will be a long visit”. So I had to leave.
Ever since the brothers have left or I should say sold, Jagmin dental is no longer a family! Poor Dr. Larry is rolling over in his grave, looking down, on the way his patience are being treated.
Dr. Stephanie doesn’t care about her patience half as much as Larry and Gary did!
I wish I could review the doctor but I didn’t make it that far. I was able to make an appointment and confirm the appointment but I could not be seen for my appointment due to the fact that I am a nurse. “Have you been exposed to COVID” “well, I am a nurse but I have not been exposed without PPE” “I’m sorry but we are unable to see you at this time, even if your exposure was with PPE”. Why wasn’t this question asked before I showed up for the appointment? I could have been looking for another dentist but instead wasted my time waiting for an appointment that was never going to happen.
If your practice is going to cut their patient list to excludes doctors, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, patient care techs, first responders, grocery workers, pretty much anyone who works with the public, then why did you even reopen? I didn’t sign up to take care of people during a pandemic with minimal PPE but guess what, I did it because that is my job and people needed us. I’ll take care of you when you’re sick but my health isn’t important? How long should I wait to see a dentist? 6 more months? 1-2 years? Once a vaccine is developed? I’ll be with another practice by then and I hope a lot of others will leave Jagmin too.

Dr. Gary was amazing, but he is ready to retire and not there as much. My whole family saw him. He always got us in with any issues. If it meant staying late or coming in on days off for a problem. Long story my son saw both dentists occasionally an had an excruciating toothache from an old filling and Dr. Stephanie was unwilling to get him in for two days. They advised me to just take motrin for the two days. I got him into another dentist who couldn’t believe it. She didn’t prescribe antibiotics or anything as infections are extremely dangerous. She clearly doesn’t care about her patients. We will not be back and very disappointed in her practice.
