I found Jayhawk dental while living in Lawrence for college. I have since moved to Kansas city but I continue to see Dr J as I do not think it will be easy to find a practice that I am willing to go to for dental care. I have a lot of anxiety related to dental care (I know, everyone hates having to go to the dentist but I truly have an added level of anxiety) and am grateful I tried out Jayhawk Dental (I seriously went to 4 other practices in the area). Everyone is very kind, the front desk is knowledgeable and informative, the hygienists are efficient and communicative, and Dr J is soothing and effortlessly calming. If they created a list of dental offices for people with a lot of dental anxiety … this one would be top of the list. Thank you for your teamwork and good care.

Dr Jankowski is a good dentist. However, He informed me that he has the moral obligation to torture me until I die, because I did not follow they’re rules of dentistry. I believe this is Ani-Christian. Christ died on a cross because he did not comply with the Jewish law of the time. In their minds he “thought” he was God and above their law. I’m convinced that I will suffer with my bad teeth until I die now, because of this same evil spirit. I hope God will use my suffering for Good. Still, I love the sinner and hate the sin, and would recommend Jayhawk dental.

I visit Jayhawk Dental twice a year for cleanings and my experience is always a good one. I have mental health issues that have interfered with my taking proper care of my teeth for a few years, but Dr Jankowski and the hygienists have never embarrassed me over this. With their encouragement and support, I am now brushing and flossing daily and my last checkup didn’t reveal any problems. The hygienists are very good at cleaning. I like this practice and I will continue working with them.
