I recently had the pleasure of visiting JLM Dental Studio for the first time, and it was truly a fantastic experience. As it was my first time at a Black-owned dental practice, I couldn’t help but feel an immediate sense of connection and representation that is often lacking in many spaces.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff at JLM Dental Studio ensured I felt seen and heard throughout the entire visit. The importance of representation cannot be overstated, and it was refreshing to be in an environment where diversity and inclusion were acknowledged and celebrated.

One standout aspect of my visit was the exceptional care the hygienist, Crystal, provided. Her expertise and professionalism were evident, and she went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and understanding throughout the appointment. Crystal’s dedication to her work positively impacted my overall experience.

I also had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Lee at my recent dental appointment, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Lee’s thoroughness and attention to detail stood out from when she reviewed my X-rays. Unlike my past experiences, she took the time to explain each aspect of my oral health and patiently answered all my questions.

What particularly impressed me was Dr. Lee’s honesty and integrity. I shared with her a negative experience from a previous dental office where I felt misled about necessary services and costs. Dr. Lee took the initiative to review my information and, surprisedly, informed me that the details I had been provided were inaccurate. She clarified the actual state of my dental health and assured me that the other office had provided misleading information.

I look forward to my next visit to JLM Dental and seeing Crystal and Dr. Lee again. It’s clear that this practice values not only the oral health of its patients but also the importance of creating a space where everyone feels valued and represented. Kudos to JLM Dentistry for an outstanding first impression, and I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone seeking quality care in a diverse and inclusive setting.

I found this dentist because of their billboard on South Cobb. Called on a Friday to inquire . After speaking with Star I was able to book my appointment for Monday at 8:30 am.

When I arrived they immediately checked me in. I was greeted by Derevia (excellent hospitality). At some point Star greeted me. What I love the most was her ability to make a real connection.Star remembered our conversation from Friday and asked me how did everything go on Sunday. That lil bit of connection goes a long way it made me feel like I was a friend and not just another dental patient. We discovered that we attend the same church.

My dental hygienist Crystal she was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was training someone and did not miss a beat. She was kind, thoughtful and informative not only to me but her mentee as well.

Dr. Li was just as kind. Looking forward to returning! I highly recommend that you check this dental studio out. It was a 10 out of 10 experience for me.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed about an appointment scheduled on May 6 2024 at 4:10pm.

I was told that my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm my appointment, which was NOT true. My appointment was confirmed via text and I had the text thread to prove it.

I work FULL time during the day and to simply suggest that I reschedule as if I have no job or anything else to do is RUDE and unprofessional. It’s UNFAIR and simply wrong for me to make accommodations for something her staff overlooked. Why couldn’t her staff make accommodation for me vs me having to make accommodation. No accountability on their part!

I’m so annoyed because I thought I had FINALLY found a reputable Dentist office, but I guess not.

I will not be returning…No apology can replace how angry I am and how I’m feeling right now. This is Unacceptable!!!!
