Unprofessional and disgusting. I applied for the dental assistant position and had scheduled an interview with this office, however due to a medical emergency that resulted in me being temporarily hospitalized, I was unable to attend.
Fast forward a month or two later, this listing was still open (not a surprise) so I reapplied and quickly received this message from Joseph Van Mieghem himself.

If this is how you treat potential candidates, I question how you treat your actual employees. Let this be a lesson on not assuming the worst in people. Especially when you work in the healthcare field and someone was in need of medical attention…

I was well-pleased with my experience. Jena was very good at helping me understand my charges and the insurance coverage. Jennifer did a great job of showing me the technological evaluation of my dentition. I felt that Dr Wong was very professional and helped me understand my dental situation. And Edith was an excellent hygienist who explained very well what she was doing as she cleaned my teeth. I am very pleased that I was referred to this practice.

As always Jen’s professionalism, friendliness, and ability to put the patients at ease is awesome. Today I had the opportunity to have Dr. Wang work on my teeth and it was a great experience. I felt he had my best interests in mind and explained the procedure prior to and throughout the process. When completed both he and Jen communicated the satisfaction they had that the work was top notch and something that I’d be happy with. I am.
