After my dentist of 19 years retired, I was on the search for a dentist that is of course competent, has pleasant staff members, and–above all–one that I trust.

Before going to Joy Dental, I had seen another dentist in my town during 2022/2023 and had the absolute worst experience possible. She told me that I had 2 cavities in 2 of my molars, which ended up being false after getting a second and third opinion.

After this experience, I definitely had my guard up and was unsure if I would ever find another dentist that I could trust. However, I was wrong. I found Joy Dental! I have now been a patient of theirs since January 2023 and would recommend their practice to my family and friends without any hesitation. I literally do not have one negative remark. Meka at the front desk is truly such a joy to speak with, has a soft presence to her, and is very attentive.

Dr. Moheisen is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen. His bedside manner is very professional, but also he is extremely personable. Additionally, he is the gentlest dentist. I have had a few cleanings with him, but more recently, I had laser gum surgery on overgrown/inflamed gums that were the aftermath of a complicated wisdom tooth surgery in 2016. I have had horrible experiences with oral procedures/surgeries (wisdom teeth, frenectomy, etc.), which I felt Dr. Moheisen took into account when it came to patient care. He has an extremely calming aura and makes his patients feel safe. He answers all of my questions thoroughly and doesn’t ever seem annoyed when I’m asking several!

It’s been about a week since this procedure and it has been an easy recovery. I even had a slight concern (probably my anxiety from previous botched procedures not at Joy Dental) today and they fit me in within the next couple of hours to see Dr. Moheisen.

I hope to be a lifelong patient here! 11/10!!!

I have become a new patient recently at Joy Dental to have several work done and from my first visit they made me feel very comfortable. The staff is attentive and friendly. Dr. Moheisen has been caring and very knowledgeable in answering my questions and explains what he will be doing and what will be next steps. He makes me feel relaxed as I’ve always get extremely nervous with Dental visits. I plan to continue my dental improvement journey with Joy Dental. Thank you team!

The office is not professional in communicating with patient. They recommend deep cleaning on some teeth to me. I accepted their recommendation and ask them to send it to insurance for quote. They quoted the whole mouth deep cleaning but told me it is several teeth deep cleaning. I called to ask for clarification via email which is clear for me to understand. They never clarify question via email but very actively sent payment estimation via email.
