Reviews:
I was in there for a whole 25 minutes. I went in for a tooth extraction -they couldn’t do it and said I need two extractions so will refer me to the hospital. THEY NEVER SENT THE REFERRAL. I asked for a winz quote to pay for the appointment but they gave me one for over $2000 to get fillings. I’d been nervously waiting since early June. I had to go back and fourth between Lumino and the hospital dentists. LUMINO LIED TO ME about sending through the referral. If you want to get treated like a second class citizen and get ripped off goto these dentists. I wasn’t heard at all here and to be honest I feel so wronged and ripped off by them. I’ll pop in sometime aye and you guys can show me the email you supposedly sent. I went to the hospital just this week and FINALLY got the teeth pulled. I’d add photos of the ‘before and after’ but they’re not pretty. I came to the dentist for help because my tooth was in terrible shape, all I got was stress. If they had of sent it through I could’ve already been on the waiting list (I wanted GA). Hospital staff were AMAZING. You guys… not so much. Maybe it was the rude receptionists idk? Either way I got failed.
Try not to muck it up when people need urgent care aye. I don’t wish anyone to experience this.

I CAN’T REPLY so I’m updating my review. Looking for “L L”…. Good on yas. Look up Ms Wilson. I have an email from Sarah apologising for the delay on Tuesday the 22nd of August at 10:06am with the X-rays so I could send them MYSELF. Even then I WAS TOLD THE WRONG EMAIL FOR THE HOSPITAL emergency dentists. I came in and saw Li Ling Cheah. I’m on the mend now thanks -my “grossly decayed” tooth was well at truly at the nerve so the hospital told me. Gaslighting clients to save face…. Come on. That tooth had decayed rapidly already and ten EVEN MORE before it got taken out. You guys followed up with me but that was only in regards to payment so we could book in for the fillings – If my dentist listened she’d know I didn’t want ANY fillings so why give me a $2k quote. I just needed the teeth put or a referral to get it out asap. If you can’t find me in the system it makes me wonder how often this sort of thing happens.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is worth it.

Short version:
– Highly skilled, knowledgeable and friendly staff
– Felt like I was actually listened to and properly cared for
– Clear treatment pricing upfront, no unexpected costs (and Afterpay!)
– Definitely recommend

Long version:
I have been to this dental centre 3 times in the past month. I booked in to discuss jaw/TMJ pain. My initial appointment went well, and Dr Cheah was extremely helpful in explaining TMJ pain, my options to relieve it (with honest and realistic pricing options – thank you) and explained what treatment I required in a clear and easy to understand way. I needed a couple things done which I booked after my initial appointment, and I was pleasantly surprised to be provided with a quote of the cost of these next two appointments by the lovely receptionist. This was so helpful to me and allowed me to plan and budget for the upcoming appointments (cozzie livs, hello). My next appointment, a filling, was SO FAST. I was in and out within probably 15 minutes (including taking the time to make sure I was happy with how it was placed). My final appointment, with hygienist Rochelle, was also fab. She is super knowledgeable and taught me a lot about proper dental hygiene and explained what was happening throughout the appointment. I asked some questions about a separate issue, which I wasn’t sure would be within her area of expertise, and she was still able to help me with it. Overall my experience was great, I have no complaints. Would definitely recommend this dental centre (and already have actually). This is probably a bit long but I’m just really happy with my experience, thank you all very much! See you in a year.

Been a patient here for 20+ years but not anymore after today’s appalling customer service. My April 14th apptmt with hygienist Rochelle (who always does a fantastic job) got cancelled due to COVID19. I’d already been waiting 3 mnths to see her. Not a problem. Then I get a call from their receptionist. “Would you like to re-book? The first available apptmt is Sep”. What?! Logic would suggest that all COVID cancelled apptmts should be contacted & given priority in re-booking. I don’t for one minute believe that it would take five months for KDC to work their way through those patients whose apptmts scheduled from 26 Mar to mid April, were like mine, cancelled. “Would you like to go on the cancellation list?” ??!!!
I have no issue with the practitioners at this clinic, they’re all very good, but I take exception to being treated with casual nonchalance and a blatant ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude.
