I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Kaw Valley Family Dental! First, I chose Kaw Valley Family Dental because my dental insurance company’s (Cigna Dental) website had them rated at a 10/10! Also, since my dental insurance is an employer provided plan the website also shared that I have seven coworkers that also use Kaw Valley Family Dental! So, I felt pretty good about my appointment beforehand. Dr. Atchison was awesome! Lisa, the office Manager, is great! Lisa checked my insurance and gave me a detailed print out of my coverages and what my copay would be on the work I needed. Last, but not least, the Dental Assistant that took care of me was absolutely the nicest Lady in the world! She took really great care of me. I have to agree with the Cigna Dental website, Kaw Valley Family Dental is a 10/10!
I have a lot of internal anxiety of going to the dentist. A few years ago, I had a really bad experience with another dentistry that made me never want to go back.
Recently, I decided to take another chance and find a new dentist. I have to say I am so happy I found Kaw Valley Family Dental. They have helped me with 2 wisdom teeth extractions and a cleaning so far. My teeth have a long way to go, but the best part about this place is that I do not feel judged or humiliated by anyone. It made me so happy and I cannot wait to get my teeth fixed finally! Thank you Dr. Atchison and staff for helping me out!
They are also so nice for letting my husband attend my appointments to ease my anxiety.

Got my teeth clean for the first time in a few years. I hate dentist. It went well with no pain meds. She really got down in there and cleaned stains I didn’t think would come clean!! My teeth are so much whiter now! Can really see the difference. Great chair side manner.
I left feeling so fresh and so clean! Plus feeling like a kid again -with my goody bag when I left.
