Terrible dentist. Was told to sign up here and was told I had to wait over a month to see a dentist because the new dentist wasn’t starting until then. I waited two months. Had to visit emergency dentist in that time to get a temporary filling. When I finally saw the dentist at Kingswells, the permanent filling hasn’t been done right and my bite feels off. Phoned to report this and never got a call back. Had wisdom tooth removed at Aberdeen dental school the other day and was told to contact my dentist if I was struggling. Yet again been left with no call returned and left in pain. Trying to contact again and phone has been engaged all morning. Pretty shocking. Luckily Ward 210 have answered my call and dealing with it. Won’t be visiting this dentist again. Nothing but poor service since I joined and will return to my old dentist even if it means extra travel.

I cannot rave about this dental practice enough! Being a very anxious patient and having my first root canal treatment today, my dentist and his assistant have been of great help to healing my dental anxiety as a whole. They made me feel safe, relaxed and supported throughout the whole journey. The procedure was completely painless (even the anesthetic injections were a breeze) and I was kept informed of what was happening all the way through and reminded that I was in control and we could stop at any time. Honestly after weeks of anxiety build up to this appointment, I’ve left feeling very happy and at ease, feeling more confident and less anxious for the fillings I require next. Also very friendly, helpful reception team. Never had a better dentist!

This dentist helped me with pulling out the roots of my wisdom tooth. I had a traumatic wisdom tooth extraction in the past (not in this practice), so I know how difficult pulling out this root was. I also know that I’m not the easiest patient, especially as I have always had a fear of going to dentists :D, even before my first wisdom tooth extraction. Also, she admitted me as an NHS patient in Covid times when finding an NHS dentist was extraordinarily difficult.

She is one of the few dentists in Aberdeen that wants to help anyone, not just rich people who can pay for private treatments. 🙂 My fear of going to dentists is much lower now as I know that I am in good hands.
