Reviews:
At the height of covid, I managed to get an appointment. Towards the end, the dentist said I had to book with the hygienist. When I noted to her that descaling was part of the cost of the treatment that I’d paid for, she huffed, and reluctantly carried out a cursory clean of my teeth. At my next appointment, I checked in and sat down, and was informed by the receptionist that my original dentist had left the practice, and that the replacement hadn’t turned up for work. When I queried why they hadn’t informed me, they assured me they had. I pointed out that I always carry my mobile, that there were no messages or texts, but to no avail – no appointment. Subsequently, I had to undergo some medical procedures which precluded me from further appointments, then caught covid. All this cleared, I rang a few days ago to be told that, as I hadn’t been for some time (?!??), they’d struck me off their NHS list, and weren’t accepting any more. Thanks for the notice, chaps, and I won’t be recommending you to my worst enemy.
I wish I had paid more attention to the earlier reviews. I’ve been a long-time patient here and, being quite nervous about dental visits, I always felt at ease. However, it turns out that what other private dentists in Eastbourne charge PS79.00 for (Air flow clean), Kingswood now charges a staggering PS175.00 (used to be PS150.00). I’ve had this service countless times without questioning it, as my priority is my dental health. It was only today, with the increased cost, that I decided to check and was shocked to discover that they’re charging PS100 more than any other place. The dentist is lovely and does an excellent job of alleviating my fears, but I can no longer trust anyone at this dental practice, and I’ll have to seek dental care elsewhere.
I had a pleasure to be seen by Dr Hamid and it was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. From the start the reception team were really kind and helpful, and Dr hamid was really professional throughout the process and he was really thorough in the whole session . He explained the treatment in details with patience. I was given many options and finally chosed the best suitable treatment. The nurse (zena) was really nice and supportive in the whole procedure. During the whole treatment he was really calm and i didn’t feel a thing.
