My experience here has been less than great..
After having a crown placed by Dr.Young I had lots of issues with it from the get go. After living with not being to chew with it and a dull pain and hoping it would get better I called to have it checked out. I was unable to get an appointment until a couple of days later and the tooth was shaved down. Was told my gums were bruised and it would get better after a couple of days. Unfortunately this did not happen and I tried to call to have it looked at again. Tried several times to get someone on the line to no avail and left a message but never got a call back. Called again a couple of times the next day and left another message. My call was finally returned and I was given an appointment at 4:30pm. I was on time and was taken into the exam room where I spend over 2! hours in the chair waiting for the doctor. I understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected but I find it hard to believe that they were unaware that they were running late when I left my house at 4:00pm. A call to let me know Would have been nice and I wouldn’t be sitting here wasting my time.. no sense of urgency that I could detect and I was even told they had the Dr. quadruple booked.. Dr. Young seems to be competent, although he missed the root canal I now need, and is friendly. I felt bad they had him so badly scheduled. This place definitely needs a new business manager that can make sure phones are answered and appointments are set correctly and with respect of the patients time..

I broke a tooth off for the first time in my life. I called two other practices who immediately said, “We are booked until next year.” & didn’t seem to want to help even though I was in pain. A friend recommended Knoxville Dental Center because she loves them. I called them. They were extremely helpful and said someone would call me back to try to get me in somewhere. Around 20 minutes later, I received a call that they could see me at their Hardin Valley office. I drove straight there. From check in to check out – everyone was great. Dr. Williams was amazing. Very honest and upfront about what courses we could take to fix my issue. I decided to go the root canal route & set up an appointment for next week. I received a call awhile after I left the office that there was a cancellation and they would be able to see me today at 1:00 at the Cedar Bluff office. I had an amazing experience at that office as well. I’ll be back for a crown, but my root canal went extremely well. I have always heard they were painful, but I truly felt comfortable with Dr. Nik during the whole time. They went above and beyond for me even though it was right before Christmas. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I literally laughed the entire way from the exam room to my car because I was so blown away with how fast and affordable my emergency service was. My orthodontist in Texas installed a permanent retainer on top and bottom 12 years ago after removing my braces. Last week my top permanent retainer broke and the wire came unattached on one side and started stabbing my tongue. I called numerous orthodontists in Knoxville but none of them would treat me (even though it was an emergency and I couldn’t eat or talk) without first having a new patient appointment. The average wait time for a first time appointment was a month and a half. Finally my husband called Knoxville Dental Center and they got me in first thing the next morning even though I had never been there!! My husband and I feared we would be spending hundreds of dollars since we don’t have dental insurance and I worried that the repair would be complicated and take hours. It cost $50.00 and took less than 5 minutes. I still can’t believe it!

Besides the great service, the office waiting room is so cute! I love this place.
