I am redoing a review of my appointment experience from 9/23 because I was a bit intemperate when I wrote then. What I would want to say first for anyone viewing this is: take your proof of vaccination status with you when you go! Because I had not been told ahead of the appointment that I would need mine, the office staff & I had serious communication problems. About those, I retain the view that some of them did not take responsibility for their part in them. On the other hand, I apologize for my part in them, while I was totally taken aback by their expectation that I would have proof of vaccination in the absence of having been told so ahead of time that I’d need to. Quality of care, once received, remained high. Thank you.

I had heard lots of good things about this clinic, and they’re all true. I felt comfortable, relaxed, and safe. You can talk to the dentist about any fears or concerns you have, and they will work with you. They also talk to you about oral hygiene and what products are best, like manual toothbrushes vs electric ones, to help make wise decisions.

Also, facility is modern, and they practice water conservation. That’s very important to those of us who have grown up in the desert.

Overall, the experience I had was wonderful. I haven’t felt this safe in a dentist’s office since I was a kid. I highly recommend La Familia Dental.

I love my dentist, she answers questions and is considerate of the pain involved in some dental procedures. I always look forward to visiting my dentist just because of her kindness and personality. I trust her professional approach.

The clinic is another story, they seem to always be operating in crisis mode – not sure if it is lack of staff or poor working conditions but someone needs to fix it. A raise always helps.
