I’d dreaded the day Mr Burridge, my dentist of 41 years of my life (I’m 42!), retired – he’d been incredible. The thought of someone else doing dental work on me was pretty horrible. But I plucked up the nerve and booked my first appointment since his exit from the dental world.

Did I have to worry – no! His replacement was Lauren, who immediately spoke and acted with confidence, kept me fully informed of what was required sharing X-ray pics and explaining what would be needed. Unfortunately, root canal treatment and a filling. This was done over 2x 30 min appointments, and I can’t speak highly enough of Lauren and her assistant / technician in everything that they do. I’d heard some horror stories about root canal, but honestly, I hardly felt a thing. Biggest difficulty was keeping my mouth open for a long time, bit of jaw ache on the opposite side of the treatment. Again, every part of the process was explained to me with calm authority and confidence, and kept fully informed of progress throughout in language you understand. Good rapport between the 2 people working on you, it puts you at ease. And the relief almost instantaneously after appt 1 was unreal. A few weeks later, that constant tightness and pain I’d learnt to live with for weeks / months – has completely gone.

100% recommend this dentist to anyone – great at their job, great people. Lauren, please by like Mr Burridge and don’t go anywhere for the next 40 years! Thanks for the fine dental work – I wouldn’t go as far as saying I’m looking forward to my next appointment, but I’m certainly no longer dreading it! 😀

Worst dentist in my life canceled my appointment yesterday what was a Saturday was told to ring back up today on a sunday . Was told a load of fibs in regards to staff shortage so i popped in there and the as no issues i could see . I had not eaten any food in 2 days as my tooth was hanging out and was in pain and i could not talk right and all it needed was a little pull to get it out . So in the end i just pulled it out myself was in pain but had to be done . As our nhs system is so messed up and in our harsh world hat we live in with inflation rising . It just seems that if your paying for your service your welcome with 5 stars but if its free you will just go back to the end of the que . Whats happened to discrimanation to the lower class people who have to getf ree treatment . Its all about the money now so from what i have seen the is no chance for us the lower class people to get any treatment now very horrible place and i wont be going there and paying them for my new set of teeth in a year or so so all you have done here is given your self a bad review and cot your selfs monry in the future . You want to fog me of like that well here you go right back at you . Some people may look stupid but in the insides of there brain they sure can leave a good review

I went here as emergency, I had excruciating pain in the left side of my face , I told them that I wasn’t able to exactly locate the pain , so she x-rayed my left teeth and I was told there was absolutely no issue & they couldn’t see a cause of the pain , bearing in mind that I had a large hole in the k9 tooth that I mentioned and she completely was not interested and didn’t see that as a cause for concern, I was sent away with amoxicillin, since then I had numbers of doctors appointment, a night in a&e the pain was that bad I was on waiting list for a appointment by a neurologist with suspected trigeminal neuralgia as what else is it going to be after she gave a clear bill from dental issues ? Anyway after another opinion from another dentist & it actually was my k9 left side tooth that I had a live Nerve exposed.
If your staff had done the job correctly I wouldn’t have had to go thought months of excruciating pain ,losing money , wasted time when your staff had 1 job !
