If you’re looking for a dental practice in Southampton I would 100% recommend coming here! I don’t usually write reviews but feel like people should know what to expect when they come here.
I have been coming here since 2013 and in that time I have seen some change in staff, for the better I would say! The Practice Manager and Receptionist are more than happy to help with any query you may have! You can always get through on the phone when you call up too! The Receptionist try their best to offer you an appointment time that’s suitable to you but as you can imagine with anything NHS it’s very busy! – but I’ve never not been able to be seen when needed! The Dentist that I see is very pleasant and explains in detail what it is exactly that you are planning to have done and doesn’t leave you in the dark about anything and doesn’t push you into any treatment that you’re unsure of! The Dental Nurse that usually works with my Dentist is very friendly and reassuring – both making sure I’m as comfortable as can be throughout. I have friends and family that come to this Dental Practice aswell and they too agree with how wonderful the Practice has become.. The Dentists that work there have been there quite a while so you don’t have the worry of seeing a different Dentist every check up!
They have had a make over of the Practice recently which makes it feel much more welcoming, especially as most people don’t particularly enjoy coming to the dentist!

All in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish and I will be recommending this Practice to anyone that asks for a Dentist in the area!
I had a first class experience at this dentist this morning. It was my first check up in years and was apprehensive before hand. The receptionist was pleasant and polite as was the dental assistant. The dentist himself was very friendly and introduced himself. He asked if I had any concerns specifically about my teeth and proceeded with the check up. Everything was explained along the way and he even talked me through what could be seen on the X-Rays taken. Time was taken to ensure I understood pricing structure for future work and that I was happy to book that in. A real pride is clearly taken in patient value and experience. It’s safe to say I will be going back for more treatment with trust and confidence!
The elder receptionist is completely rude. She should never work in a costumer service position as she treats the patients so badly. I’m horrified by her attitude. Still can’t decide if she always treated me like that because I’m a foreign, but it should never happen at all!
