I rarely write reviews but I want to warn people from going to that place. I believe there are good dentists at the practice but the one I saw recently was just shockingly incompetent. I wanted to have an appointment with someone else but was told that he is not taking any new patients. I was advised to see another doctor so I made an appointment. The first thing that hit me was a spider on the web in the corner of the room, but I thought to myself I was overreacting when it came to cleanliness. Then the assessment started. There were scans taken of my teeth and I was told I have at least 6 teeth that need doing and I can book an appointment for fillings now or I can wait, but the decay is happening already because I … overeat sugar. I was then told that the toothache I came with will probably require a root canal to know for sure what is going on as the scan was “inconclusive”. I was so shocked by the assessment that I have decided to have another opinion from a bit more experienced dentist in another practice. I just had an appointment yesterday and he said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth. He explained why I had the toothache, recommended a solution and confirmed I did not need any fillings at all, not to mention a root canal in a healthy tooth.
I am writing this review because I want to warn people. I do not know why this woman told me what she did, was it incompetence, lack of experience (I was told she has nearly 10 years of experience) or simply wanted to rip me off? I simply don’t know, but I am glad I have decided to get another opinion as it saved me from spending hundreds of pounds and going through unnecessary pain and stress.
