Reviews:
Excellent service and experience all round from the word go. I only looked online for a dentist. Lumino Whakatane popped up, and so did an online booking service. I had an appointment made within 7 days!!! I was worried about cost for a broken tooth – but the cost charged was actually very good, very competitive, and the broken tooth go fixed(without being pulled). I was well looked after, and a great job was done by exceptionally friendly staff.
The team at Lumino are always so friendly and accommodating. Nicole and Alicia make you feel welcome and comfortable as you walk in, then there was Liza and her assistant who were incredibly patient and understanding of my “issues” when it comes to dental work. They were also very thorough with checking up and making sure everything was OK post procedure. I highly recommend Lumino Whakatane, and I can’t thank the team enough!
Rip off. On their website they advertise a check up for $69 including x-rays at “most” branches. The list doesn’t include Whakatane so I expected it’d be more like $80 maybe as much as $100. They charged me $200 for a 10 minute check up just to tell me my teeth are fine. Other luminos in bigger cities with higher overheads can make a living charging $69. How can our small town branch justify charging 3X as much?
