I came here a few times and had no issues. I got a new insurance and asked if they accepted Cigna. Sarah said “They bill insurance for you.” I’ve never dealt with insurance before and this to me sounded like they took it. It turns out the answer to my question was simply, no they don’t. I now am paying $1,200 out of pocket. My previous insurance has just ended 2 days prior. If she’d answered my question in a less round about way, I could’ve saved about $1,000 by either moving my appointment up or going somewhere else. I feel that I was VERY mislead. Not to mention one of the fillings I was having to pay out of pocket for after this incident hurt after with sensitivity to hot, cold, sweets, etc. I had to leave work early TWICE to get it fixed which caused me to lose more money due to this. Dr. Gates, the hygienists, and assistants were always very kind but I just cannot recommend them after feeling that I was mislead in that way. All around I’m incredibly frustrated and have cancelled future appointments.

A Dentist’s Office, in the past, was normally something I would dread. There just were not many plus sides to the experience.
My last cavity was filled about 15-20 years ago. And, it was not a good experience with my nasal passage also being numbed. That memory came flooding back today.
But, I should not have worried!
Today’s experience was much different.
Dr. Gates is extremely skilled, and I had absolutely no issues with my face feeling numb.
She and Theresa were extremely patient, calming & provided whatever I needed from soft music, water & blanket to help me relax.
They explained each step of the cavity being filled, so I knew what to expect. The process was very smooth and went faster than I expected.
Amanda was excellent in cleaning my teeth & explaining care routines for home.
I have found a dental home, and without any reservation, can enthusiastically recommend this practice.

I so much enjoy my time with the team at Magnolia Mountain Dentistry. Each employee is incredibly caring, prompt, and thorough. I had a sensitive front tooth repair done recently and Dr. Gates and Theresa took fantastic care of me, and kept me very comfortable during the process. My new tooth looks so realistic and I love it.
