After being underwhelmed by several other dentists, I tried Dr Matt on the recommendation of a friend. He’s not just one of the best in Modesto but the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s very honest, skillful, a pretty cool guy, and everyone in his office is super friendly. Having come from a family of dentists he takes his job very seriously and is very thorough. When you get good service and are a happy customer it’s easy to take things for granted. Until today. I had what I thought could be a dental emergency, left a voicemail for Dr Matt on a Saturday afternoon, and ONLY 10 MINUTES LATER got a call back! That’s just incredible. Afterward as I was driving home I thought of the many years I’ve been with Dr Matt and knew I had to write this review. I also have 2 kids and they really like him. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend giving him a try.

The office clerk named Stacy is very unprofessional. She told my friend that she could not understand her because of her accent. She understood everything else but when it came to an issue, that was her response. That is something that should not be said. When my friend asked to speak to someone else, Stacy stated she was the only one in the office that could speak to her. My friend later went to an appointment she had in this office and in hopes she could speak to someone else. Stacy stood close to my friend on her appointment to hear what my friend was saying. My friend reported this situation to someone differently in the office and nothing has happened yet. I would not recommend this place at all.

I took my son to Dr. Matt to have his two baby eye teeth extracted and my son had a lot of about it. But Dr. Matt and his staff have a way of putting everyone at ease, and he extracted both teeth in under an hour and I was very happy (and surprised) to see my son walk out to the waiting room after it was over in good spirits! It also cost far less than expected which was great! The staff there is amazing also, they are very compassionate with the patients and accommodating as well. It’s not easy to book appointments all together when you have a larger than average family, but they always try. I highly recommend them.
