Don’t go there!!!! Everything I got done there was done poorly causing more problems than what I went there to fix in the first place!! This “dentist” is a disasters!!

I had 3 small fillings that needed to be replaced and a crown that required a root canal. ( Or so he said)
The first thing I did not like about this place was that he made me go like 14 times for this work. It reminded me of when I was a kid in South America 30 years ago and I would visit the dentist 5 times just for one filling.

Every visit to Mr Valerio’s office he would perform the same task. Remove the temporary filling I replace it with a new temporary one and tell me to come back the next week. Doing one filling every visit (this takes like 15 minutes top) and taking several visits for every simple filling. It came to a point that I had to tell him I cannot come here every week and miss work for something that can be done all in one sitting. So I asked him to please get done at least two of your fillings in that session. So Dr Valerio grabbed his syringe with the anesthesia and stabbed it down my jaw just like that without topical anesthesia or anything. It made me jump off the chair and I involuntary screamed AAAARRGGH IT HURTS!! Why did you do that? I could not believe he had just done that. The way he did this was just brutal. And I am a man covered in tattoos I have a high tolerance for pain.

So the 3 fillings he got done had cavities inside which I am getting fixed now somewhere else.

He also did a crown for which I waited like a month for it to arrive the Dr’s office. When it finally did he removed the temporary cap with his fingers just like that. Grabbed the permanent one and without, cleaning, drying, or any precautions he inserted it on the tooth. Alright we are all set he says! I was very happy for I wasn’t have to go back there again. When I got home I looked at the new tooth in the mirror and the crown was shorter than the actual tooth so you can basically see the inside material of the crown which is black!!! It’s horrible and also food gets stuck in there
I went back to show him and after looking at it he said: “Oh man… What we have here with this crown is a dentist worst nightmare” His solution was that I go back in six months and see if my gums naturally dropped and cover the exposed side of the tooth underneath the crown. I never went back and they have called me every month to sell me a whitening for my teeth for only $600 with an electronic toothbrush for free!!!!

There is more to this horror story. One day while waiting on the waiting room for Mr Valerio. The receptionist started preaching the word of Jesus Cristo to me. Telling me all about our Father that said this and doesn’t like that and blah, blah, blah! I mentioned to her I was gay and Oh Lord her face was to make a postcard out of it. Ehm… Ehmm… But you don’t look gay she said… It goes on, but I think I have written enough about Dr Valerio’s House of Horrors.

I also now found out at my new dentist that there is an infection deep inside the tooth under the root canal he did in preparation to install this crown.

Bottom line. I would not send my worst enemy to this place and would rate minus 5 stars if it was an option.

They try and charge you out of pocket for covered services. My first visit I had barely a cleaning (a few scrapes) and was advised I needed to go back for a deep cleaning. My partner and I went back on the same day for cleanings (he had a regular cleaning and I had a deep cleaning ) we received the SAME service(cleaning) except he was not charged and I was advised that a DEEP CLEANING was not covered by my insurance. As per my insurance (CIGNA) I am allowed 2 cleanings a year and a 3rd at $40. I was charged $150 and I was told that was a discount since it usually costs $300. Don’t fall for the DEEP Cleaning, if they did the 1st cleaning right you wouldn’t have to go back, a few scraps is not a cleaning.
Four implants and abutments failed. I heard him tell his assistant one of the implants didnt set. Put abutment in anyway. Abutments too short. Said he would pull them. I had to go to a cpmpetent dentist to remediate. Valerio promised there would be no charge if work failed (there were previous failures). I paid 9,800 dollars up front. He will not refund. Remediation of valerio’s shoddy work and materials he used cost a great deal.
